  1. We have to keep this thread alive, don’t we. New version of 4093 based timer for T2 PSU - replaces the 555 IC. Makes a LED flashing during pre-heat and get steady when high voltages kicks in. Old to the left and new to the right. New in place in the T2 power supply.

  2. Quick update on the status of the GB - we are in the process of testing the boards before sending them to the fab house for estimates. Will provide another update as progress is made.

  3. They make about as many watches a year as Rolex but there is a lot of market to market variation in demand. One of my favorite watches from them is not popular at all in the USA but is very popular in Asia. What ever you do end up buying just make sure it's because you love the watch not because of a deal. No matter the price any watch is waste of money if it's not the one you truly want. Also if you want the best price out up of a dealer, at least in my country never talk price or discounts unless you are ready to buy at that moment. If they go down to what you ask and you don't buy, good luck in the future. If you're clear you're just browsing and still trying to make your mind up or continue to save they should be more than accommodating and jump at the opportunity to give you info and let you try things on. Also all these dealers typically know each other and talk between themselves.

  6. I went to the Eugene Ballet's production of The Firebird. A modern adaptation set in a dystopian post app future (and you gotta know I loves me some dystopian post app futures). Overall, the performance from the dancers and the sound out of the orchestra pit was very enjoyable. I was stoked!

  8. Indeed. Not only cathedrals. The iconic Cutty Sark in London burned in 2012 during restoration when a vacuum cleaner was left switched on overnight with this result And the Charles Rennie MacIntosh school of art in Glasgow burned down during restoration work in 2014 Then during rebuilding in 2018 it burned down a second time
