  1. Decided to ask my local metal engineer if he’d do stainless steel handles to my liking for my two safety razors and the Gillette fusion, which he did. So because I enjoy posting photos, here’s how they look. ? Although both safety razors look alike, one handle is thicker than the other and the head on one is higher for a closer shave.
  2. Yes, I means GoGo Penguin. E.S.T. I think they "created" a specific subgenre of Jazz, something between pure improvisation and a well-studied sound. In the same style you can listen to Tingvall Trio (others that should have been the new E.S.T), Avishai Cohen Trio, Helge Lien Trio ... Right now I am listening to one of my latest acquisitions. Tord Gustavsen Trio "The Other Side" Edit: I'm not sure why the links in the images do not work
  3. I ordered two CDs. I like this kind of trio's (piano, bass and drum). Not as good as my E.S.T but very pleasant. GoGo Penguin? Yeah, they're pretty great. I really dig GoGo Penguin, this is the kind of music I tend to make. It sounds like jazz, but it's not really improvised. Everyone compares them to Esbjörn Svensson Trio, I should probably listen to them. Me, now: probably the standout from the above four collections of "heavy psych" -- to me, this is more Krautrock/the sounds of friends just sitting around jamming melodically: https://heavypsychsoundsrecords.bandcamp.com/album/mother-engine-hangar

Each manufacturer and retailer are different. I had a 30 day trial on my mattress. I used mattress underground as my primary resource which was great until the owner died. His wife now owns it and collects fees from manufacturers so the ratings are all skewed now.

  9. Never underestimate the obfuscating twats on diyaudio I asked a question regarding Kemet vs. Vishay-Polytech tantalum-polymer capacitors (since the Vishays are considerably cheaper and appear to be functionally identical), and get this: Well, maybe, but given the thousands used in the automotive and consumer electronics areas, 8 of these isn't going to make a dent. So I replied with this: Perhaps just answer the fucking question? That forum drives me up a tree, but there are SOME very good an knowledgeable posters there. In their defence, I had provided the wrong Vishay part number. I'll see what happens when they wake up... And both Kemet and Vishay say that they source materials in a sustainable and conflict-free fashion. With Kemet, I can believe that. Vishay, being the sluts that they are, will say anything... kinda like the orange turd in the WH.

I have experimented, since your post, and I'm still not sure how one fucks it up.

Just back from Aruba...lovely and easy trip. Really like that the flights are direct and you clear U.S. Customs in Aruba so it's a domestic flight back. The week there was great with the Rolex OP. Took it off for bed and that's about it. A fresh water rinse after ocean duty...that's all. On that note, my Maui Jim sunglasses were also perfect for a laid back holiday...effective, high quality and low maintenance. Tool shades...LOL. I ordered the following several months back as a fun watch. My older boy wore it the entire time in Aruba and fell in love. I very much like the quick change beads of rice bracelet. Very comfortable rubber strap as well. Overall, nice build quality for the money. As a pre-order, it came with the second strap at no charge if memory serves me. Love the size and the blue rubber strap. The retro lumen is growing on me, but it won't be for everyone. Maybe I'll get to wear it one day... HS
  12. Someone left their mark on my new car at the brewery a month or so ago. Right front fender but fortunately missed the head lights and electronics. Just under $1600 and in the body shop right now getting fixed. Add the cost of a rental car and of course the inconvenience.
  13. What a pain in the balls, Jacob. My car was hit 7 months ago and I still haven't found the time to get it fixed.
  14. This is something else, but from around the same time. It's a long story, and a stupid one. It was just three days. Today, I walked out to my car and discovered this. Of course the parking lot camera doesn't work. If you look at the dent on the door, you can see where the person got out and tried to "rub the dent out." Idiot. I have rental coverage up to $50 a day, so I chose "luxury." I hope it's something decent.
