Thinking hard about a Hobie Getaway.
Been too slow on the used ones near me and the local dealers don’t have any tricks to deal with Hobie’s horrible supply chain.
Signed up for sailing lessons starting Th - excited about that!
I bought a kayak yesterday, and may be buying 2 more today.
Yesterday: Dagger Torrent 10.0 (pick it up next weekend)
Today: Dagger Juice 7.1, Dagger Mamba 8.6 (probably on both)
As long as I don’t have to test them I’m out.
Made this little plaque, first time doing a small intricate V carve. I was a little worried it was going to be a tear-out disaster but it actually turned out well.
Very different sounding headphones. The Clear are punchy and more balanced. The HD8XX appears to be an even brighter version of the HD800S, so big soundstage and too much treble.
Stumbled across 'The Repair Shop' on Netflix.
It's a British show that's exactly as it sounds. Quite interesting. This is definitely my type of thing. Some wonderful craftsmen.
you might look at Souriau Quik lock connectors (SMS series) for HV application, haave used them in equipment for 40 years, great stuff. Not all the same configurations as Molex. 5.08 pitch and excellent pins.

Not really tile exactly, but another fun one was a master bath with Aluminum/acrylic panels by a prominent artist, that I cut and set in the shower.
They didn't bother telling me until after I cut and set the three panels, that each panel cost $10,000.
RIP Charles Grodin, of Beethoven (the dog movie) fame, at least to me. Made it to 86.

Seems like a long time ago now. Currently mothballed at the Coventry Transport Museum while they try to raise the UKP8m to add the rockets and do the next series of runs to 800mph+. It all hangs in the balance.
