Some progress with Tube Hybrid(something). PSU; left – Board with filament transformer and transformer for GRHV style regulator (+100V). To the right is Connex SMPS, put it in top of the first board and you have PSU with 6.3VAC, +100VDC and +/-30VDC. Amplifier board with a tube daughter board. The required -5V is done on the amplifier board with a smd 7905 and a few capacitors. Will it work? Who knows?

Battery holder printed well clips in right. Going to mount them to the wings of the drill cabinet to allow for my fat fingers to access the buttons.

Just a little decaf cafe mocha for the afternoon. I really do like Wondermilk. Most of my shots are well over a minute from pump start to finish. That includes a preinfusion, but as Dan says, the time really isn’t really all that demonstrative of anything other than how long it takes.

When I was at Al's Brother Tom's house for Thanksgiving yesterday, I came upon this log that was cut from a fallen tree. I realized that I had about 20 minutes before dinner would be served and I happened to have a 1/4" chisel in my pocket that I forgot to put away, so... It just happened to fit on this metal stand that they had.

Prepping dates before their union with goats cheese and bacon. And scene

Prepping my contributions to the enormous Bedecarre clan Thanksgiving dinner. First is Texas Trash (Chex mix). Second is my best dish, and a holiday tradition in my family. My homemade macaroni and cheese. Guaranteed to clog at least one artery. 4.5 lbs. Cheese (Tillamook cheddar and pepper jack) 1 qt. heavy cream, 1 qt. sour cream, 1 lb. bacon (crumbled) and 2 lbs. macaroni. Third is a recipe I've not made before. An internet find. Roasted Brussel Sprouts with browned buttered hazelnuts and pickled shallots.

It doesn't get much handier in size than the Pico Power -- those are 1/8" jacks on the front. Funny you should mention the DT880 -- I use my Pico Power with the DT1770. Also, it comes in purple.
