  9. Just came across this music club if anyone is interested... https://feedbands.com/ "We discover exceptional artists, we pay to have their latest unreleased album released on vinyl, and then we ship their album to you each month." "What bands influence your musical taste? We listen to so much good music it's hard to rank, but a handful of our team's favorite bands include (in no particular order): Modest Mouse, Wilco, Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, Rush, My Morning Jacket, Vampire Weekend, Daft Punk, David Bowie, The White Stripes, Led Zeppelin, The National, The Beatles, Nine Inch Nails, The Who, Radiohead, Pearl Jam, The Black Keys, Jack White, Neutral Milk Hotel"

  14. Hate to say, but especially when on the road McD is still a stop. Probably not surprising it's mostly about speed and when no other better options are around, but I will say you can still get a double cheeseburgerish (McDouble) for $1 in most towns. As all drink sizes are also a buck, you can basically get two double cheeseburgerishes and a large Coke for near the price of just a soda at the last deli I went to. Course quality, calories, etc. are a separate discussion. Although you can escalate the price (post-McCafe original intro), it's still easy to keep things cheap. Not sure how price plays a part in all this, but just realized my Five Guys normal order ends up usually being near twice the price of my In 'n Out normal order, which is twice the price of my normal McDonalds order, which is about twice the price of a soda from a convenience store.
  15. In UAE there was a restaurant with the slogan "Home of the Whooper" and whose speciality sandwich was the "Big Mag." I recommend that place. If you have difficulty finding, it's near a pizza place where all pizzas taste like marshmallows.
  16. Thanks. Will look into. Was at a lecture last night on the 100th anniversary so all about the Rite.

100 years on: Igor Stravinsky on The Rite of Spring http://feedly.com/k/13VtnoF "It is scarcely believable that The Rite of Spring, and before it The Firebird and Petrushka, were written by a composer still in his twenties, and that this was only slightly more than a decade after the death of Johannes Brahms."
