Anyone have any experience with Better Ears?

Cool. Thanks.

Good to hear. Read the concurrent sequel, so now have to hit Crake. In fact recommended The Handmaid's Tale to my mother yesterday.

x2. I hadn't heard the audio before posting.

Kick-ass Racoon...

Nice price!

Not to further possible salt pouring, but if you find maybe upload copies to Google docs as a short-term backup (and keep working on them from there)?

I think we're all trying to hit the basics first, so let me take a stab - have you tried a third party indexing tool to search for a string inside the files (including 'invisible files')? Just trying to eliminate the variable of the files existing, but not being indexed or shown due to a corruption. Afraid I'm unfamiliar with the best third party search tools on Windows, but there must be something similar to DEVON EasyFind on OS X.

Lookin' good, but it needs a head.

Anyone have any issues with the Record Doctor V? I hesitate to pay for a VPI 16.5 with the relatively simple mechanics involved. Then again a poorly designed cleaner could be a mess.

Possible clue: Seems pretty hard-hitting.

Spaulding Gray's better 'Impossible Vacation' was my gateway to accepting 'On the Road,' but in reality there just better Beat and of course other, writing out there. Echoing Grawk, I wouldn't beat yourself up if 'On the Road' doesn't hit. Now if 'The Road' doesn't hit we can talk.

Did and was strangely disconnected with the characters, but maybe that's me having to reconnect/remember them all. Just wish they'd get going with whatever is coming and get to the point of the story (if there is one - readers is there one?). Probably incorrectly trying to wedge a cinematic arc on a TV series, or expecting Breaking Bad/Girls tightness, but enough wandering. Let's do this. Leeroy Jen...

This is pretty light compared to some of the other stuff posted recently, but woke today to the following. I'm no doctor, but something seemed a bit off. Spent morning at pediatrician. Looks like a cold that morphed into a sinus infection this weekend, that grew into a double ear infection within last 24 or so hours. First real illness, but on the bright side no pink eye. Antibiotics started and fingers crossed Esmé returns to happy-go-lucky self soon.
