Sure sounds like everyone is having a blast. Differing opinions on the LCD2-GS1 combo. I'm with Vicki (over for instance the LCD2-Extreme Plat and any tube combo I tried), but would be great to hear the Valhalla someday. I think Craig slightly preferred the HD800-BA and LCD2-Hybrid/Zana, but I could have gotten the BA and Zana reversed.

As stated in the OP, not all advistise the same bit support, but if you're only concerned with 16/44.1 that may not matter. That said, the JH3A still isn't out, and the Inday has entered, left and reentered my system for a variety of uses (currently dual DACs and video gear audio) and gotta say it's a nice problem solving piece to have around. Course it's nearly half the price of an XDA-1, which has a bunch of inputs.

Just found out my optical plan covers a second pair of glasses, so bought some obnoxious ic! Berlin Faris sunglasses for when I want to go glam. Last week went with some Sama Dantes for when I want to go smart.

Sorry, missed your post. The answer was "San Francisco designer/German hand-made layered horn frames made to my head measurements." In the end decided $1,400 frames weren't going to happen. Especially when they didn't look quite as cool as the first time. Forgot the past and knocked off the leading 1 by going with the future - Japan and plastic.
