I am waiting for my 3a to come back to me I received my shipping notice for monday delivery. I would go with the 3a ,for two reasons with the adapter coming out for the JH16s you can use it striaght out of your classic or use the analog input of the 3a with a lod to your classic.I use a Imod with my 3a using the analog input for portable. . The 3a using the spidf with your stationary components will raise the bar in sound Quailty. PLus you can use the usb input with your laptop which I use. Only downside to the 3a is battery life,about 6hrs when using it as a portable. Sound quality alone the 3a is pretty damn amazing for a portable setup.

I sent my 3A in two weeks ago for exchange for the newer unit & waiting for JHa to get more amps to come in.Hope no issues with quality control. I was happy with the old unit even with the gain problem. Jps comments on sound quality of the newer units makes me happy.

Great pics Jeff, Liked the thunderpants,Liked the LCD3, Verdict is out on the sr009 I am up in the air on this one,may be a little on the bright side. Need some more time with a familiar system. Who wants to lend me one. The HE500 sounded good on the EF6 Kerry does some nice builds that BH is not fully finished cosmeticly. All my impressions are short listening sessions. as I got to the meet late. Good times hanging out with everyone.

I recieved the same flier fro AA and did a double take on the price as well ,thought it had to be a typo. Knowing TTJV sells them for $595.00.

Last storm I was out for 3 days,,But I have a generator a must have when you own a home,even though it gets little use & sits Idle most of the time.

Jp, Let me know what you think of the new unit as opposed to the one you have,I am in the same boat as you as I still have mine & would keep it as is if JHA would support it. My earpieces fit perfectly ,I wouldn't want a refit which JHA would have to do for the crossovers.

I went from a 30 to a 15 & a year and a half later took a 10year mortgage because of a rate decrease & knocked off another 3 1/2 years by doing that with a $70.00 a month increase. I never took equity out by rolled the closing costs of refinancing into the new mortgages,so all I did was sign papers. I have two in college now.

Thanks Guys, Feels good after refinancing a couple of times to lower my rate & term I paid the origional 30 year mortgage off in just under 22 years.
