  1. Sprung (Prime) - another fun comedy series. One season, easy watch.
  2. The Outlaws (Prime) - fun watch. We're through the first two seasons, looking forward the third.
  3. Condolences Todd.
  4. Do I need to finish "For All Mankind" before watching this? I sorta lost interest in "FAM", despite the subject matter & era being generally up my alley.
  5. ^probably about the same for Wimbledon too.🎾
  6. ^have all season 5 episodes dropped?
  7. Legends (2026) - 1990's British customs agents enlisted for Thatcher's war on drugs. Quite good & engaging.
  8. Spider Noir (Amazon Prime) - enjoyed this alternate take on the Spiderman genre alot.
  9. Happy birthday!
  10. The Continental (Peacock) - all John Wick fans must see (a prequel): Not to be confused with:

Grell OAE1 headphone on Woot for $39.99 Cheap enough for modding & experimentation, no?
  12. Peaky Blinders (Netflix) - I know I am so late (like, ten years late!) to this party, but here we are finally. Binged thru the first two seasons, & started series #3. Not perfect, but lots of "fun" (usually in a dark-ish way). Dang, life was harsh not so long ago.
  13. Thelma Houston & Pressure Cooker - I've Got the Music in Me (Sheffield Labs recording on CD) - Picked up at a local Goodwill on a whim based on the label. I was not familiar with the Sheffield Lab era but was intrigued by the cover, so I grabbed it. Have I found my newest obsession?
  14. Happy Birthday Al!

  20. Broadchurch (Seasons 2 & 3) - Back in 2013, we watched season 1. While excellent, it was very intense, centering on the death of an 11 y/o boy in a tight-knit English coastal town. So much so, that when series 2 aired, we opted to not continue watching. In the last weeks, we circled back to binge thru season 2 & 3 in succession. These were just as intense as the first and reminded me how much I love Olivia Coleman's work. Definitely not for the faint-of-heart, or a casual watch. But these were the blueprint for many similarly-themed series over the last decade.
  21. Just in the last few years: Lagerfeld, Westwood (who was also predeceased by her natural successor Alexander McQueen), Miyake, & more recently Armani. Now Valentino last week: The remaining big Japanese designers of that era: Rei Kawakubo (Comme des Garçons) & Yohji Yamamoto are both getting up there in age. Ralph Lauren is up there too, and thankfully still active for the brand. With Donatella having stepped down from Versace, who else is left from that period (70/80/90's)? Is Calvin still working? Mucia Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Tom Ford (Gucci), Marc Jacobs are a few young-ish [sic] names I know crossing over into this century. I have no idea who is leading classic houses like Chanel, Dior, etc. On a positive note, I am currently amazed at Coutre to the Max, who appears to be an old soul in this young boy's body, & doing amazing things. Can this be real?
  22. Happy birthday!
  23. Bookish (PBS) - getting my Brit-TV fix with this new series starring Mark Gatiss & Polly Walker (#crush!) as store proprietors by day/crime sleuths by night "hubby & wife" (quotes intentional) in this series set in set in post-WWII London. British accents as thick as molasses, using the vernacular of the time, all require intense concentration, but worth it. By the by, young Buket Komur is one to watch as an up-&-comer in the biz, imo.
  24. Happy birthday!
