Interesting series in the West. Momentum keeps shifting, if there really IS any at this point. Two strong teams.... In the East, glad to see Tampa pulled ahead and in Pittsburgh. Now please finish them off on Tampa's home ice. Pitt has played pretty well in front of their goalies, but the cracks are showing, and Fleury in net was a big mistake IMO (see my comment earlier in thread, re: Caps winning if Fleury was in). I'm pretty sure Sullivan will start Murray next game. And it's actually refreshing to see Phil Kessel play with fire, something he has apparently lacked when with the Bruins and Maple Leafs. Seems he has picked up where Crosby has declined. Ultimately I'd like a SJ cup win, though the Blues wouldn't upset me. And Tampa Bay wouldn't upset me, as Stamkos is one of my favorite players for combination of skill, leadership, and class. Even though he hasn't played due to injury, I'd love to see him get a cup.... Just enjoying the games!

That is just awesome, many congrats! I have to say, when we have been on our college tours, we have seen a large amount of incredible bright young women getting some big degrees like this. Really great to see!

I used to own the DNA Stratus, and I'm inclined to agree. It was good, even very good depending on the phones; but others I heard or had were better to my ears, some by a decent margin. Today, I used my 800's (original, not new S version) with these in order of preference: Micro-ZOTL 2 | ECP Black Diamond | ECP/Beezar Torpedo 3 There is a smaller difference in my preferences between the ECP amps, and they are all really good. But most of the time it's with the Micro-ZOTL 2.

So I sold a small Chipamp to a nice gent on Audio Asylum. He was using it for (one of) his horn systems, and he said it worked out real well. He sent me some pics of two of his other speaker systems:

RIP to an old High School friend of mine, Mike. He was chaperoning a Scout trip with some other parents, and they hit rough waters on the Dead River in Maine. Raft apparently flipped, everyone rescued but him, couldn't be revived with CPR.... Two kids, I think teen/pre-teen....so fucking sad..... It's been many years since I saw him, only e-chats; we had him to our house with another friend & family when he just had one child. But it still hits pretty damn hard.

Free or Paid? Free, I use AVG Free in several places, and Avast also gets high ratings often. Paid: ESet NOD32, Vipre are two of my top contenders, combination of protection and lightweight resources I'm sure others will have just as good recommendations, but those I've had direct experience or know folks who do (and who's opinions I generally trust)

Sorry Dan.....I wanted to Caps to go farther, or all the way, this year. I wish Mark-Andre Fleury was still in net for the Penguins, I have this feeling that with him in the Pens would have lost this series.....the new goalie isn't the second-coming of Ken Dryden, but he's playing pretty well, and the defense has been over-achieving too.... I don't see Tampa knocking them down, so they likely make the finals.....

Whoa....RIP Tomita. Was listening to some of his Pictures At An Exhibition last week....

Went to my niece's wedding last night. It had to be moved because the original venue cancelled with <2 months left, but the new place came through in spades! And it helped being closer to us. Many highlights, including seeing some cousins I hadn't seen in years. The new family is a blend of multiple cultures: we're Jewish, my brother married into an Irish family, and my new nephew is African-American. A simple but truly amazing ceremony, and a great party. Perhaps the oddest but greatest highlight: my nephew (bride's youngest brother) playing Hava Nagila for the Jewish Hora dance....on the bagpipes! This morning, we take my mom and Karen's mom back to the same venue for Mother's Day brunch.
