I do this all the time, where someone saying something to me will trigger a song in my head. Karen and I were joking about something, and she said to me, "Say it ain't so...." Indeed, stunning how bad it was. I guess in Syria, too, it had been long enough that many buildings weren't at all resistant to/built to at all handle earthquakes....
