  1. Well, I mentioned the Russian 6H23EB because I have obtained excellent results in other gear in place of the 6922/ECC88. Of course it may not be applicable in this design thus so be it.
  2. Had the Z washed and waxed, then went to ACE to pick up a Torx 5 driver to work on iRiver H120. I am currently formatting the 80 GB HD I installed on the H120 to be followed by installing Rockbox, I hope ti works! I also replace the battery with a 2300 mAh one.
  3. Adapter, plus 80 GB HD and a 2300 mAh battery to upgrade an iRiver H120. I hope I do not mess up the perfectly working H120 while upgrading it.
  4. Hi Kevin, instead of an NOS 6922 have you tried the Russian 6H23EB?
  5. Received a test unit on loan of a HLLY TAMP-20 based on the tripath chip. Currently using it to drive an AKG K1000, my initial impression ... not bad at all for $118 including S&H.
  6. I am hurting just by reading your post Al, hope you feel better soon.

I found this performance to be awesome, hope you all enjoy it. Stick with it, you may need to listed to a minute or two to start appreciating it. http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=2539741
  8. Alex, life is much simpler outside of the fast paced self indulgent life most of us live in the larger metropolitan cities (here or other countries). Have a safe trip back.
  9. Kevin I would love to buy a set of boards and whatever but ... I would need a member who would be willing to build this beast for me? Any chance one of you talented guys/gals would be willing to do so. If you are could the amp be completed by mid December? I know I am asking a lot but I would not trust myself to build this monster. Thanks and please shoot me a PM to further discuss cost and schedule. Thanks.
  10. Al, both Sennheiser and Audio Technica (to name a couple) make them but they are cumbersome and expensive. Sennheiser USA - ew 300 IEM G3, wireless stereo systems, stereo transmitter, stereo receiver - Professional Audio Audio-Technica - Microphones, headphones, wireless microphone systems, noise-cancelling headphones & more
  11. Early in the day and getting ready to meet Mike at Sterling Road in Broward County. Will probably wash/wax the 370Z, perhaps the right way is to say ... will pay to have it wash/waxed. Enclosed is a picture I took of the 70 Beetle in 2007, I have to take new ones.
  12. Took the day off and: washed/waxed the 70 Beetle - hung out - took a nap - got a haircut - went out with the wife for an early dinner. Overall a very good day.
  13. Yes, I read further and it is supposed to do it according to the Apple site. Went to Netflix and their site still does not show the new Apple TV. Since I am not in a rush I will wait a few days to see how to do it.
  14. Shelly and Mike, sorry for the newby question but is it easy to set up the Apple TV with netflix? My wife wants to join netfilx and if the Apple TV can be made to work with it I am in. If you would not mind sending me a PM with a link to where I can learn more I would appreciate it. Thanks.
  15. I remember seen him race, a pity at such an early age.
  16. HiFiMAM HM-602 on loan from Fang of Head Direct. If anyone in the South Florida area would like to listen to it or the HM-801 shoot me a PM.
  17. Had lunch with the wife at the Shake Shack, ok burger but IMO nothing special (he wife loved it which is a good thing). Then I drove to South Miami and met with Rob (vorlon1) to chat and listen to the iBasso Toucan, plus we compared it with the MiniBox-E+ and the Xin Reference (D5 module). Overall a nice day.
  18. Nice having a new companion, may you both enjoy each other's company.
