Ok. Now for external drives. I was kind of planning to use 2 firewire drives that I have. The mini has one FW800 port. I guess my plan would be to use one as the main music storage and the second as the time machine backup. But they'd have to be daisy chained. Is that bad?

Thanks Greg, will keep that in mind. As for DAC, I'm thinking the HRT Music Streamer II. Seems pretty easy, cheap, and decent. I especially like that it's powered by the USB port. Any thoughts?
