Was wondering if anyone had experience with either? I'm getting my rs1's recabled with silver dragon. I had this cable on senns way back when and liked them alot. Was wondering if anyone had experience with a setup like this. Going to be using them with my extreme platinum, and microdac. Mostly was motivated to do this since i like how my silver cabled hf1's sounded, and i know this cable is probably alot nicer then the headphile one (or atleast similar). I tend to like how my rs1's sound alot more recently, and thought it would be a step in a better direction (and fun atleast).

I think grados can really show off a good amp. For instance, my rs1's really never had a soundstage or such dynamics until i tried them out on the extreme. I can definatley hear an improvement over my previous amp (ppx3 w/ 5687s). Yet I don't know if the value can be really appreciated by most people. Who knows? I'm happy about it I guess, and well, I don't care too much what other people think.

i still like my minidac. Does a good job, asio driveres are good, and i listen to all flac files anyway. It's a great little gadget, i'd only bother upgrading for something alot better. I've had a few decent sources, and this ones kept me happy for the last year or so. Great with grados, not quit as bright as a benchmark dac1, just as detailed. Most head-fiers don't like it cuz its not pretty i guess.
