6 weeks? I couldn't do 2 with the number of boxer shorts I have. I might manage 3 for socks. And I just threw out all my 44, 42 and 40 inch waistband trousers, so I'm down to 3 pairs of jeans. Note to self: buy more boxers.

Is the "real world usage" factor really that noticable over a good HDD? I have a 300GB velociraptor atm. Always fancied one of those iRam drives, guess they're obsolete now.

Air hockey at the st Andrews student union was 50p a game but the table was always dead because every time they fixed it the first people to use it managed to spill 2 pints of lager onto it, then once the air stops... Other quirks of the games room included very very slow felt on the pool tables. For a similar beer related reason.
