I'd buy a used set of Quads, I already have (21L), but theres not exactly any other way to get ahold of a 57 model, which is where im going to go one day (and then stack).

Originals. Or at least I certianly hope so, else they go back for sale again, or return to seller. The auction had original all over it.

- Small(ish) bookshelf speakers
Do let us know the details of yoru adventures. I had to put my fist in my mouth earlier this evening to not impulse buy those Ergo 2s. It'd be my third set but a new monitor is a necessity.- Small(ish) bookshelf speakers
If you unearth something thats a nice read do post it, I was too lazy to go looking. I mention the quads because they are the sane priced little speakers I'd go for, that decision based entirely on how much I like my 21L, how much I like another pair of 21L in a friends setup and how much everyone in the world seems to like the 11L. The higher budget option is that wacky looking soundlab ministat with the downgrille on the electrostatic driver.- Small(ish) bookshelf speakers
Indeed so, it appears that I was incorrect, theres an active and a passive 9L2, and the L-ite. The L-ite is the home cinema surround speaker and the 9L2 the stereo merket option, although you can buy the L-ites in pairs. The L-ites are smaller. 248 x 152 x 205mm for the 9L2 225 x 135 x 160mm for the L-ite.- slow forum
That drew several hundred calls to the ASA, there was a very funny article by Robert MCNeil in the Scotsman about it (and other such notable adverts). I persoanlly didn't think it was funny, but thought it was nice that finally people outside of the catering industry could buy Heinz mayonnise, which is nicer than Hellmans.- Small(ish) bookshelf speakers
The Quad 9L is active. You'll need to be looking at the L-ites if youve no loop out.- Small(ish) bookshelf speakers
