First two episodes of The Last Dance about the 97-98 Chicago Bulls on ESPN. Wow... this is fun! It isn't especially deep, but the characters are some of the most compelling in the history of sports. I'm looking forward to catching the full thing in the weeks to come. Oh, and when this old Alan Parsons track started playing I admit I did get the chills a bit. When you heard that music you knew it was time for Michael to kick somebody's ass!

With one episode left to go in this penultimate season, this show remains an absolute delight. IMO it is one of the best shows currently on TV. I'll be sad when it is over and done.

Tried this, but at least on Tidal I think the mastering is totally brick-wall'ed with zero dynamic range. I might be imagining things, but I found it hard to listen to. Instead went with some easy listening future conference call on-hold background music from Phish, their new one, Sigma Oasis.

That new trackpad cover looks real nice and works with the prior gen pros. Hmmm... want it, but not sure if I want to fork over $300 for it.

Rewatching Chernobyl. It is quite good a 2nd time though because you know what is happening and why in a way that isn’t clear the first time through. Also feels quite appropriate for the current situation.

I know in the age of digital delivery we aren't supposed to be pre-ordering things anymore, but this is the easiest pre-order I've ever made.

Might as well enjoy the finer things before they end up shutting down all restaurants due to this Corona crap.

This won’t be a sexy suggestion, but I found a local roastery I enjoy just by punching “coffee” in to google maps and sampling the roasteries that popped up.

RIP Clive Cussler. Used to love those Dirk Pitt books on planes and vacations. Along with the Clancy stuff they are damn near ideal beach reads. Also like the Clancy stuff they probably haven't aged all that well

Frontline takes a look at the rise of Amazon. This was very good. It is also nice to see that Amazon took it seriously and made most of the top echelon of execs available for interviews. We are in totally uncharted waters going forward as it feels impossible to think of any historical analog to what Amazon is today. I've definitely been re-thinking some of my own Amazon shopping in the last year as I don't think the company really shares my values. https://www.pbs.org/video/amazon-empire-the-rise-and-reign-of-jeff-bezos-xpco5j/
