Yeah, zero reason to buy the garbage can Mac Pro anymore. That new iMac Pro will be pretty sweet for people who can take advantage of that type of hardware in their workflows. The $5k starter price is a big ask, but that is the price you pay when you jump from Intel's "Core" platform up to "Xeon" with its ECC memory. I'm psyched as hell for the high refresh rate on the new iPad Pro. I've made the jump to high-refresh rate monitors on my desktops and now I can never go back. I'll have to see one in person before I make the jump, but if lives up to the promise there might be a 1st gen iPad Pro up for sale soon :).

I think the Cavs have a much better showing in g2. A lot of the breakdowns I've read/watched show tons of sloppy mistakes that I think the King and his men are more than capable of cleaning up.

I'm having to remind everyone today that GSW won g1 and g2 of last years finals by like 10 and 30 point margins and still lost the series. The Cavs will play better. Regression to the mean is a powerful thing. That being said, boy, Cleveland just has no one with a prayer of defending KD other than LeBron. Asking LeBron to defend KD and carry the Cavs on offense might be asking too much.

Giles Martin did an amazing job with the remaster. It really makes the songs sound essential again.

I'm a sucker for their alternate takes and studio banter. Hard to believe its been 50 years.

I can thank the Baron Davis "We Believe" Warriors of 2006-07. That is the team that made me a basketball fan. I still remember cheering loudly and watching the playoff games with college buddies at the Ram's Head Tavern in Annapolis, MD.

The King is the King, and certainly when he is on the top of his game then anything is possible. If that happens the collective butt-hurt around here would reach the kind of levels at which President Trump would be forced to declare a national crisis and get FEMA involved.

I have a buddy coming over tonight and we are going to check out the first few episodes of the new "Twin Peaks." I really hope its good, but my expectations are low. The first season of the original "Twin Peaks" is one of the best single seasons I've ever seen on TV.
