  1. Hang in there, Steve! So sorry to hear the news.
  2. That was a lot more fun that I thought it would be. He may be a horrible human being but he is one HELL of an athlete.

Never say never! I never thought my old man would pass 500 bottles, let alone 1,500. Then he discovered wine auction sites...

My Dad has roughly about 1,500 bottles now and he owns a number of these types of coolers. My advice is to get one with nice pull-out drawers. Think of it more as a way to display the bottles you really want to drink than as long term storage. A cool/dark basement is really all you need for long term storage and aging. These wine coolers are more of a luxury, but the ones with nice pull-out drawers are really nice for choosing what to drink. You can use them for aging wines, but they aren't really necessary for that purpose. Just my 2 cents.

  7. Seems appropriate for an ass-early drive down to Salem, OR to go witness certain celestial phenomena.
  8. This guy does a great job with reviews. https://www.dcrainmaker.com/ Hope it helps!

  11. Sorry to hear that, Kerry.
  12. Acca-Dacca to power thorough to the end of the week.
  13. I'm sort of surprised they don't have the two of you do some limited paid consulting.
  14. If I had to make a list of my five favorite people in the music business you can bet your ass Brian Eno would be on it.

I'll say this... Bannon definitely has an interesting past. https://www.washingtonpost.com/investigations/steve-bannon-once-guided-a-global-firm-that-made-millions-helping-gamers-cheat/2017/08/04/ef7ae442-76c8-11e7-803f-a6c989606ac7_story.html
  16. New Arcade Fire. Just finished listening for the second time. It is solid, but they set the bar so high I'm finding it hard not to feel a little disappointed.
  17. Fun read. I was born in 85 and I think I'm about 5-10 years too young for most of the references. I think RP1 might be better as a movie than it was as a book. I'll be looking forward to it next year.
  18. RIP Sam Shepard. Amazing as Chuck Yeager in "The Right Stuff" as he was in almost everything he acted in. He was also an awesome writer.
  19. Have a great birthday, Todd!
  20. Happy birthday, Mr. Torpedo!
  21. One lesson I've learned over the years is to try and not assume the opposition is dumb. If they get this ACA repeal though then they will be the ones who have laughed last.
  22. Not true at all. In fact the opposite is true. https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/congress-trump-score/?ex_cid=rrpromo McCain often says one thing and does another.
  23. I respect McCain's experiences and his service, but I've always strongly disliked his views, and his voting record shows why. I hope he recovers soon and lives a long and happy life, but I also hope he retires from government ASAP.

10 Combined team kills and we each had a clutch save on the other. Outstanding game!
