  1. Yes, I'm interested. I have a JH Audio13 Preqphase that can be used as reference. What are the conditions of this review?
  2. Does the software work with other DAC beside Esoteric? Nice and clean interface.
  3. How about a custom IEM? I love the sound of Ety ER4S but can not stand its comfort.
  4. From what I understand, the DFF is like Wav file so no tagging & album art.
  5. Why not DSF? I'm using Sonore just like Todd to convert ISO into DSF. Then I tag each album with artwork in Jriver to complete the process. If I want to save space, I use Jriver to down covert DSF into 24/88.2 FLAC files for portable uses. However, those FLAC files seem to loose some minor but audible fidelity during the conversion process. Sadly I got addict to DSD (due to better mastering over redbook) and now I even use them on my ZX2/ZX100. Of course, the ZX2/ZX100 also double as my portable digital transport to any USB DAC.
  6. Yeah, I should have rid my V1 when I had the chance. Luckily I was a beta tester and got it for way less. Honest though, what they are doing is just trying to capitalize on the market conditions. Thank god Mr. Speaker is trying to bring more performance for a whole lot less with their Ether Flow lines.

    Chord Mojo

No experience with the HM901 here but the Mojo does sound like a good sounding $500ish desktop amp. I would put my money on the Mojo.
  8. I think that mod is very similar if not identical to Whitigir mod on the Z7. Still, the stock cable is horridly thin and you are better off getting some sort of silver cable upgrade. Mine has Silver dragon on it.
  9. @TMoney Nice! How did your ECP amps did against a Stax system with KGSSHV Carbon on board? Great looking amp!
  10. Stock pads only for now. Contact Whitigir on headfi and he can help you mod the Z7 to sound even better. Less boomy and more balanced sound in general.
  11. Please don't add the Kobicon...that jack is just pure sad. How about a 3.5 mm mini TRRS jack?
  12. Thanks. That's some dedication. I still only take my backup DAC to the meet and not the big Yggy.
  13. Did you able to take your big DSHA to meet? That amp is phenomenal sounding and really work wonder on the HD800/S. Do you like your current setup better than your old SR009+KGSSHV Combo?
  14. I wish you would have Tyll, but I also understand that you probably had your hand full. Maybe you need a KGSSHV Carbon permanently as your reference amp. It probably is the best amp that will work with both the SR009 & SR007. Well, the BHSE also get my vote. The SR007 & SR009 really blossom into something very special with those two amps and I just can't really see any dynamic totally outclassed them. Some may dislike the SR009 here, but they do sound pretty awesome out of BHSE & KGSSHV Carbon. Do you have the SR009 and SR007 to use as reference?
  15. Sold mine earlier today. Quite sought after by many people with 5 people wanting to purchase it. I'm just glad that I didn't loose any money and get to keep the GS-1 instead.
  16. Tyll just declared the Utopia as "World Best Headphones". Has anyone of us actually heard them beside Tyll? Thoughts?
  17. I had them even before her and I don't find her annoying yet.
  18. My daughter is 3.5 now and we have yet to return to the movie theater. My daughter is pretty noisy however.
  19. Well...better late than never. Have a great birthday Tom! Don't forget to enjoy your YGs!
  20. Great choice for going with John. His builds are unique and always first class. Gotta love his custom chassis!
  21. I think George is sell them now. Superb looking chassis!
  22. I would go between 6 or 8. This works well for my lower impedance Sony headphones all the way to Hifiman HEK.
  23. Is it simple to rip compared to the PS3 KG? How about a ripping speed?
  24. I do have the Susy Dynahi with Dual Sigma 22 boards and it is as good if not slightly better than my old Headamp GS-X MKII. If this amp is legit and done right, this is a screaming bargain. Plus it is desktop friendly as well.
