I just went to Diana Krall. It was great. She was backed by the Honolulu Symphony Pop Orchestra and played with John Clayton, Jeff Hamilton, and Anthony Wilson. It was a wonderful concert and she even played some songs off her new album coming out. Also, it turned out that it was the 10th Anniversary of the Honolulu Symphony Pop Orchestra so there were a bunch of local artists performing before she came on

I have to agree with 4n6 that in my experience high end headphones really does reveal the quality of the source, but I'm sure everyone's experience differs. Thanks 4n6. I really do like the Cary 306 Professional. Thanks ASR for the link to the specials page on Moon Audio . I might have to give Drew a call .

Thanks Purk. I'm hoping I'd get to try the Cary 306 Pro with my maxed out SDS and other amps. I do like how the Cary 306 separates everything so beautifully with much detail. The sound IMHO is organic and rich. Thanks Reks for the input. I guess it sounded bright with the R10s, but it wasn't in a bad way at all, and it sounded really, really good

Hi Everyone. I just heard the Cary 306 professional and I loved how it sounded. It had a bunch of detail and the highs sounded bright to me, but it didn't sound harsh or shrill. Also, every instrument and the vocals had it's own space. Overall it was just amazing. What is a good price for a used one? Also, does anyone know of a comparable source that may be a little cheaper? Thanks for any help or sugguestions.
