  1. Wow, that's pretty epic.

  3. They played here recently. On this tour, they're doing two sets. The first one is the entire album Flood in order. That's a pretty big change, as they appeared to dislike playing that material for many years. When I saw them in 1996, they did a medley and cranked through Constantinople and Particle Man in record time. Anna Ng rocked both times I've seen them.
  4. Silly question, but do you K1000 owners use a mirror when you're adjusting the speaker positions? In my one experience with K1Ks, I found it hard to make meaningful adjustments without being able to see the relative positions. This was many years ago, in an upscale audio shop. I used the the chrome front of a blinged out Krell to see what I was doing. Spearit Sound didn't see fit to install vanity mirrors in their listening room.
  5. I hope this one works out better for you. I've been following your Oppo-related misadventures with some interest. I'm going to be in the market for one sometime in the new year, if I can stop hemmoraging money elsewhere.

  7. Buying property is seldom a bad idea, but I can say from firsthand experience that nothing prepared me for the financial shock and awe of home ownership.

  10. Here's an odd confession: I just realized that after my HD-650s, my most used headphones are the greatly-maligned HD-570s. The 570s are inefficient, cold, distant cans. Even diehard Senn fanboys don't particularly like them. That said, they're amazingly comfortable, and don't sound any worse driven by my MacBook's heapdhone jack than they do by my GLite. They work quite well with youtube or flash based games like Onslaught 2.
