  1. The metal can be found at Mouser if anyone is looking - keystone part# 1453.
  2. Great work! And where did you find the plastic shaft couplers?
  3. Makes sense so as not to miss the free shipping promotion.
  4. Just use your own words - 9 pin Teflon.
  5. parts connexion is good but they just double the price and charge shipping on the stuff they import from China that is otherwise found on ebay.
  6. Good to see you posting here again! I found all your bad experiences very helpful in building my t2 - I am sure it helped many others as well. Any way to repost son of your photos of the fakes again as they are not working any longer.
  7. You just need 34 1486 and 34 3675 per amp, if you are going with "all original" parts, so 200 is a lot more than you would need.
  8. Some of the xicon resistors in the batteries are no longer available. I recall there were some other brands that people had success with, but that for the most part if xicon's weren't used in the batteries you would end up with a noisy t2. For someone like icarium he needs to make sure the large caps are short enough to safely fit in the case without being accidentally hit by a case screw. The one in the original bom is no longer available, though alternatives are probably out there.
  9. Yeah, they're right up there, close to hockey (even though bought out by the King) - like a licence to print money.
  10. Those look like the real deal.

Hey Andy, I have two but likely will only ever need one. Drop me a line.
  12. Great, glad to hear! Enjoy this amazing amp.
  13. Try it with the LED in place. Also, you should use steel screws on those transistors since they are insulated.
  14. Thank you, sir, those had slipped my mind. Will still need some 1486 though.
  15. Do you have a picture of your amp board? Make sure you don't have anything reversed. Also, is your psu still reading 453v when connected to the amp boards?
  16. Thanks. I checked them before and they are only a little cheaper than bdent for 50 or so and shipping wipes out any savings.
  17. Anyone able to recommend a good source of 2sa1486 that ships to north america and doesn't have Bdent level pricing? Any recos are greatly appreciated.
  18. Guessing the BOM he has is from the early boardsets.

You made your own switch? How did you do about doing that?
  20. Are there no off the shelf solutions that do custom lengths greater than 400mm?
  21. Would the 4686's be in place of 3675?
  22. My black is sz1, but know someone else who also has a black 71xxx, which led to my question. Weird. I wonder where they came from.
