I bought one of those cases too. Did not find out about it from here though.

I'm not sure myself. I have one from the series with a USB in the front. 1.1 however, so at times it lacks the proper throughput, and stutters. Was thinking the usb 2.0 ones might be nice, but seems like an HTPC at times would be much more useful. (as in several times more useful. No need to hook up drive/switch disks/ play more formats/better codec support)

woot.com has a refurb'ed Philips DVP3962 dvd player for $25 shipped. Upconverts/hdmi out/plays divx.

Thinking about that orange box. Last time best buy had the physical copy for sale at $10, it was sold out everywhere. Just afraid that my comp will have issues running, + valve seems to make everything run/play worse for me. Audiosurf became really hard to run once it hit steam. Went from the demo/hacked demo/ to the retail version to show support, then found out it did not run smoothly at all with steam. Still need to find out what all the noise about the russian jump in CS is about.

Never even noticed that before. And I've seen that video many times. Still need to get a better version of A Best (the first one) =/. I have the international one, where they just used old tracks. Japan version she actually re-recorded a few tracks.

Not today, but yesterday. Didn't even realize it til a little bit ago, but I was by the Solutions Wall/Elliot Smith Memorial. Walked into solutions audio ( a/v repair shop ) to take a look around. The owner came out to talk to me and my friends that I was visiting in LA. Went for a little over an hour (til closing time and they had to clean up) about Chinese history/people and politics in general, with some crazy/amazing tie ins to music-- all the while promoting that the Chinese should get along with each other regardless where they're from/political feelings (Taiwan & China issue). Pretty interesting guy, actually did not get to talk much audio. I did ask about grados since I saw a few in there, and was told that he modded them. Kind of curious, but I don't own grados anymore. One of my friends who went with me does, might bug him to visit again with his 80s.

hm. can they actually touch the green screen, and have the computer recognize it as a click there? -- and I do that at the costco gas station sometimes, those lines get quite long.
