Yeah, I'm betting 15 days or so. I used a normal thermocouple to do the final tweaking for your F5. Those heat sinks are very nice. It does help that there isn't an enclosure per se The reason this is handy is for measuring the temperature of the tab on TO-3P devices, for example. I never had the surgeon's hand to do this with my thermocouple, as I always assumed it could easily short the tab to the case given a slight mishap.
I was thinking about getting a Fluke, but didn't know for sure if I could sell the thing based on taking the kid's temperature and baking alone. If I could have gotten those two applications, it would have been an easy sell.
