depends if you understand the circuit enough to be able to rearrange it with a more restrictive resistor value set... or if not, and you decide to try to parallel two values to get the resulting value that's absent from the resistor line.

yeah, what a lame pic. Here's a better one: I'm very excited. It's the same DSO that Ti uses, but 2-ch and not color. Otherwise, it's identical. I'm most excited about trying the FFT functions, that are now included by default in this line. Ti says they are interesging, but don't completely replace a nice sound card setup with RMAA. Perhaps that means they are good enough for me Also, the USB connection and the ability to print directly to a printer is also included by default, without upgrading. Once you start to look at what Tek is "throwing in" from a feature standpoint over the older three-digit series, it's pretty amazing. All that, and the slim form factor!

Michael Percy used to sell the Gold Aero, but they are now out of business. He does sell the RAM graded tubes though.

18ga won't fit. The largest that will fit is 22awg. I think it will work out, we'll see soon.

yeah, I was more worried how the cable would "feel" or "lay" with two pair of twisted wire inside... I'll try it out in the next couple days and report back.

Got my Belden wire today, and it's the real deal. I expected it to be on a spool though.. oh well. Has anyone tried to tightly twist a pair of wires (i.e. heaters, and in fact 2 pair in this case) inside a multistranded umbilical? I wonder how this will work...

Boards arrived today. The only thing I noticed, which isn't a huge deal, is the mounting holes aren't through-plated. I looked into this, and most fabs require all holes to be through-plated and upcharge if they aren't. In the case of where the prototypes were done, PcbFabEx they automatically through-plate all holes, unasked, so this is probably why we didn't notice... or perhaps Jacob did this on purpose with the final files, who knows. Anyways, they look rather nice. Pics later!
