To anyone that may be interested in pursuing this, all that silver damping material in the link is really what makes the system shine, imo. I'd rather have $100 speakers and $500 worth of damping mat installed than $500 speakers and $100 damping mat installed. Its really critical in cars. Most car doors have incredibly thin and resonant metal. The stock speaker mounting points are usually directly coupled to all that metal. Just my 2 cents.

I dont really keep up with the new stuff, but I used to lurk some of the boards before I bought my "system". Though its nothing compared to yours. Maybe I'll snap some pictures this weekend. Though there's not much to see.

Not positive, but someone mentioned it in another "Deals" thread, where I first saw the deal. (link) Calvary does use WD products. I cant say they use them exclusively, that I don't know.

Pop/Rock/Metal music being the way it is these days has played a large part in my transition to almost all jazz. Its just in another realm of quality. I've got to a point where if I turn on the rock radio on my way to work, I just laugh.

I remember seeing video of Smash Mouth live and it was just awful. Not SNL though.

barmar46, if you dont have any version of Aja, keep in mind the Citizen Steely Dan box set sounds fantastic as well. Maybe not as good as the Grey or Hoffman, but it isnt an album that has suffered from poor sound quality, in any iteration, from what I've heard. The box set can be had on yourmusic.com for 28 bucks.
