  1. Hope it was a great birthday Jacob.
  2. A 1600 ISO sooc shot from the Sony.
  3. Spent my last day in Dallas at the Dallas World Aquarium. Very nice place. Lots of animals and even some Mayan fire dancers.
  4. Some snap shots of the little Sony with the S95. I am not entirely sure at this point that either EVIL is much better than the S95.
  5. So far I like the ergonomics of the Sony much more. Image quality is close using the kit lens for both. Low light capabilities seem to be much better with the Sony as well. Battery life goes to the Olympus.
  6. I ordered an adapter for the Sony Nex 5 and the Olympia EP2. Not quite as nice as a Canon system with AF but it will do until they come out with an EVIL. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I carry the ThinkTank bag with some body, lenses, flash and iPad pretty much everywhere. Now that I got these little mirrorless camas for xmas I might start carrying a bit less. The pic of the train coming out of the covered bridge was at 2.8, everything else is wide open. I do not believe I have shot anything but wide open or close to wide open since getting the lens.
  8. Went to an overcrowded mall to pick some stuff up and found a giant model train setup in place. Decided to take some action shots with the 7D and the Kegma. Shooting moving objects with a razor thin focal plane is not easy.
  9. Got guilted into attending a X-mas service by my mom. At least they have a cool pipe organ. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Happy Birthday Ken.
  11. You can push a 5D to 3200 with no problem, I just did not a lot of effort into it as it was a snap shot as I walked to the front door. It was actually on the Gitzo I just shot about 10 at different settings to so if anything came out well enough for my dad to send it out as an E-mail to his farmer want-to-be friends/family.
  12. Yeah, the fact that 3 out of the 4 playoff teams were run by first year teams should be an indicator of what a strong league we could have here and I am hoping the veterans come back next year, if only to keep MD down. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. The John Deere at night during the season.
  14. Really no complaints at this point. Focuses quickly and accurately and the packaging, accessories and build quality does not seem to be far from L standards. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Back in Texas so I decided to shoot some of my Dad's toys with the Kegma.
  16. Yeah, it seems to be much better than the first "Kegma" that I tried but I have not really used it enough to determine if it is a keeper. It appears to be a very sharp copy in the little bit of playing I have done so far.
  17. Yeah, if Peterson had played you probably would have taken me. I managed to stumble into the finals with a fairly weak team. I hope everyone enjoyed the season and will be back for more next year. We might end up splitting the league to allow for fewer teams per division so we can not have such a waste land in the waiver zone every week next year.
  18. Jacob, that looks like you should have just gone ahead and had them put a bionic leg in there while they had you opened up. Some from tonight.
  19. Yeah I am mostly just trying out the Sigma to see if I can live with it instead of spending double for the Canon 85 f1.2. I have heard good things about the Canon 85 f1.8 but have never actually tried one out.
  20. I find all of this discussion of films very interesting as I never got the chance to get involved with film photography. I guess if I did I would have to hire Knuckles to be my sensei as he seems to have this down. I picked up another copy of the Sigma 85 f1.4 to try out, hopefully it is better than my first copy.
  21. Looks like it all comes down to Adrian Peterson vs. Matt Forte and Deion Branch for all the marbles.
  22. Yeah Brent, after early Sunday results last week I thought you were going to run away with this.
  23. The playoffs are starting to get more interesting.
  24. I hooked it up to the desktop and it ran fine. I realized it was just me not paying enough attention as I had ignored a message that came up and clicked okay and the drive had mounted as time machine available.
