I have shot a lot of 30 second stars without getting star trails at all. Not sure how 10 seconds could get something that looks like that.

I have used one of two FoodSaver units for several years and had no complaints. The Professional Super Saver is what I used mostly now. I was eying an Ary VacMaster chamber sealer but stopped doing much SV so I never bothered.

I haven't seen them for a while but I thought they already were balanced. I guess I will have to track them down, I know the HF-2s are balanced.

Love Peanut Butter M&Ms so I declare them super healthy.

Sigma 35 is pretty great. I have also been really impressed by the 20 f1.8 so far. Not sure about Australia but always great deals on Fred Miranda for great lenses.

Looks like neither Sony will work as I was perusing the manual about the time you posted this and noted no volume control. As the Emotivas also have no volume control, they will not work for me. Maybe an Oppo 105 with a HD attached.

Yeah, most monitors I have bought have come that way. I got two, specifically determined to be better than the ones bought by the Ginger Avenger by my friend Andrea at Emotiva. Now I need to decide on whether I get the Sony HAP-Z1ES as a source or go cheap and get the HAP-S1/S and use RCA to balanced cables.

Figured that out and got a pair. Might be a bit huge for the office but at least I will not have to get an integrated amp and I assume it will sound better than all these Studio Monitors I have amassed but never really liked. Thanks for the notice.
