  1. I have met my idol (hint: count the number of strings these pickups are for):
  2. Regarding Roadies -- Thinking perhaps that Showtime was on preview...and now it isn't, since I don't technically have Showtime. Watching Preacher now -- FUCK this is good. They are really doing the graphic novel series justice. And the tagline is perfect: How can a show this bad be this good? I has a sad, though.
  3. I already have tickets to see them live. Don't care if it's a 20 minute set, I <3 this act so hard...I mean, it's just perfect from beginning to end...and thanks for pointing out the Jack White and Doors touchpoints -- I felt them both subconsciously, but they were different enough that I had a hard time putting my finger on either one...it's definitely got that 'wild' singing, borderline out of control, full of soul, ripe with attitude, for which I am....thankful...dammit, almost had a rhyme for that...
  4. Comcast made the mistake of giving me access to everything I watch on TV via computer -- I have become a total couch potato. Mostly True Blood, though. Watched the first episode of Roadies, tried to watch the second, it wouldn't let me. Not sure what changed...
  5. It's funny, I've been frequenting guitar forums a lot lately, so I read this as wanting to improve the quality of the distortion of an amp (as in more, not less). @ self
  6. I reinstalled Chrome (because it was acting up, and nothing short of deleting it entirely was making it better), and can't seem to find my script blocker. I thought it was called NoScript...tried uMatrix, but that doesn't seem to remember my whitelist. Am I using it wrong? Is there a better one? Where is noScript? Any better recommendations? I should also probably add something similar to my Firefox -- any recommendations? I'm still using The Great Suspender in Chrome -- that's still a godsend. Anything similar in Firefox?
  7. That would be Raffy, some threads get trimmed from time to time.
  8. Fluctuations in line voltage? (normalized)
  9. I, too, hate the escalation of hate. I'm glad they blew him up, I hope he felt it. Oh, wait...
  10. http://www.ttvjaudio.com/category_s/1867.htm
  11. Can't stop listening to this. Sounds like it's 40 years old. Will someone please listen to it and recommend me some other stuff to listen to like this? ? and the Mysterians? 13th Floor Elevators? Need to go on Pandora, I think. Sorry, forgot link: https://themysterylights.bandcamp.com/
  12. Stayed home; sat on the throne; took immodium; waited for it to kick in; ran some errands; dashed home. Cheers to that!
  13. That's not always an option. My mom was hoping to go completely deaf because they wouldn't allow themselves to operate on her unless she was. There's also healing time.
  14. Exactly. And: Heh-heh, yeah, we love that thread over there. He (the photographer, Hunter) has taken to warning us when he won't be posting, so we don't go into withdrawals or riot.
  15. I follow PRS guitars pretty avidly, so I've already seen that. I'd be afraid to play it or anything with such intricate inlay work, but I otherwise am very admiring of the wood choices and semi-hollowness of that guitar. Have you seen the zombie one? I think I may have found Jeff's guitar. It's also ridiculously expensive, so he should be drawn to it inexhorably... http://briansguitars.com/product/paul-reed-smith-private-stock-custom-24-walking-zombie-1 Oh, and you're playing's fine! Much better'n mine...
  16. Fucking timezones.
  17. Happy belated! (aðili greiða hávaða)
  18. Gojira, Magma -- which is superb -- prog metal Haken, Affinity -- which is also superb -- hard rock prog The Mystery Lights -- goddamn, I love this album. My only complaint? It's too short, but it's superb -- one of those albums I can't pick a favourite track on because they're all so good. Old school R&B.
