All the people impersonating other people deny they're the person they're impersonating...not helping your case.

Lollers -- I am full of love, you just gotta admit it's weird when one person who rarely posts starts a thread to wish 'happy birthday' to someone else who rarely posts. That said, I trust what DOTU said, so I stand corrected about you being a separate entity from Aaron.

Notes Falling Slow is basically the three albums starting with Open, my favourite period of theirs, plus bonus material that fits real well. If you like this, you'd probably also like Devics. Will put on Caution Horses.

Lots of Mouettes mixed with Cowboy Junkies -- even though they're completely different, they mix well together. Or maybe I'm just strange, because I also listened to Faust IV, Chainsuck, and Tomas Cotik.

I'm pretty sure he's been banned because the only time he comes here is when he's drunk and wants to pick a fight, so...if you want to kiss his ass, you may want to do it elsewhere, wipes. And now, of course, Guss2 is on my watchlist because he's probably Aaron pretending to be his own fan. That's really fucking pathetic.

I still like Bent Knee because they're wilder and more varied, but damn if I'm not instantly in love. I think this might take second place for album of the year, if the rest of it as good as this.

Cowboy Junkies, Notes Falling Slow (ly...sic) -- goddamn, I love Cowboy Junkies, especially their slower numbers. Reminds me of the desert and being able to breathe. I could just rewind this to the beginning and...actually, I think I will.

Indeed. RIP police officers in Baton Rouge. Fuck people. I'm going to just become a hermit. What he said.

Lollers, my eyes went straight to the girl...or crossdresser, or whatever that is...looks like a girl to me...are you sure that's a gay club? Or perhaps they're just looking for good dance partners...

Just finished True Blood. Damn if seasons 6 & 7 didn't make up for season 5. Season 7, in particular, despite some minor flaws, might've been my favourite season.

I kept getting this ad for Argonauts on Facebook, so I read it. I actually really enjoyed it. It's not the best written, but the premise (a cyberpunk update of Jason and the Argonauts) has a lot of interesting thoughts well thought-out. And I actually kind of enjoyed the whole idea of a "hero" coming to grips with needing a team/support staff.

Yeah, WTF is wrong with people. RIP 84 people in Nice.

Fixed that for me. I've been going back and forth between NuForce and HRT. They both have entries with 24/192 capabilities.

Yeezh. Here's to hoping...

Epic. I love the fact that it's officially endorsed on the Game of Thrones YouTube channel.

The Mystery Lights -- they rock so hard. The lead singer/guitarist in particular is pretty wild. They only played one song that I didn't know that wasn't from the album, but several other members of the audience seemed to know it, so it must be an older number. I can't wait until they develop more of a repertoire so they can do a longer show. They did jam a bit, though, especially when they were having technical difficulties, which almost made me wish they had more technical difficulties. And the dufus photographer planted himself in front of me towards the end of the set and started thrust dancing in front of me and started backing into me which kind of ruined the moment so I shouldered him (I was drenched with sweat from the small walk from the Metro stop) later. Didn't make me feel any better, but hopefully he'll read my post on Facebook (I posted to the event, I think) and get the message. Left part way through Night Beats -- not because they weren't any good, they were great -- but because I'm an old geezer that has to get home by his bedtime. I will definitely listen to more of them on bandcamp, I definitely liked what I heard. Although not as much as Mystery Lights, they were the reason I went and I was very happy I did, ultimately.

John Carpenter -- it was basically 75 minutes of this: ...with some footage from the movies during the movie songs, and fancy lighting during the tracks from Lost Themes I & II. It was heaven -- love synthesizers and guitars together, and instrumental music is teh bestest. He dances like my mom, though, so that was kind of distracting. Oh, and he threw in some trivia here and there ("I did 5 movies with this guy, but I don't think we ever had as much fun as when we did this one: Big Trouble.") And they false started They Live -- stopped, all put on sunglasses, continued -- so I did, too. Yeah, that was fun.
