I want to say $25-ish. And as was mentioned by Mike, I got it at Total Wine. It might be a seasonal thing, because I've never seen them there before, and now there's plenty. Crappy -- I have no idea, but they really went all out, did the research, and redesigned the glasses from the ground up -- do a search on it, it's interesting reading. Here is the one article I read.

Spent most of the day with Colin -- that was nice. Discovered that the Oppo BDP-83(SE) can host an iPod. Good, yes? No -- it does it straight from the disk, so all you see are a bunch of 4 (?) letter hashes for the file names and directories. Def going to get a 2TB external, though, there's no excuse it can't do that.

That reminds me of a story. I used to work in the same building as a blind guy with a seeing eye dog. We once went to the bathroom in adjacent stalls. Dog was lying down looking up at me. Purely wildly guessing: one less buffer stage on both outputs? (The presumed missing buffer being the one that you would use to split the two signals.) A more technical person than I would please verify.

Goddamnit, how do you watch a whole episode of Brew Masters on the Discovery channel? All I see are a bunch of pieces, and I don't know what order to watch them in. I watched the first piece earlier in the week, and was completely turned off, despite having been completely won over by Sam Calagione in the movie, Beer Wars: the "Makin' Bitches Brew rap" section.

When you say the Pico, do you mean the Pico DAC/Amp, or the Pico Slim amp/Pico DAC-only DAC combination, or other? Because I seriously need to find a quality USB DAC/Amp for work, and right now (and by 'right now', I mean, before your previous post), the winner based on having heard nothing is the Headamp Pico DAC/Amp or wait for the X2.

Well, they're playing her like she's 18 or something (there was a line on the order of "bring your daughter to work day"), and that must have been what my mind's eye saw. Still, that's just over half my age, so yeah...still too young. But at least I don't feel like a pedophile any more, so...thanks for that.

Human Target, "The Wife's Tale" -- that move over the car by the parkour guy at the beginning was pure win. I've fantasized about exactly that move -- not doing it myself, obviously, but just visualizing it. The fact they did it just reminds me how compatible I am with the producers of this show. Also, nice to see Montgomery added to the opening credits -- I kind of got the impression they were adding her to the team in the last show (first episode), but not sure why she was left out of the opening credits -- it wasn't like a big spoiler or anything, any more than having Indira Varma ("Gee, I wonder who that could be?") in the opening credits. Maybe it was just a mistake, the rest of the credits read exactly the same (between the two episodes -- other than Montgomery's missing name), so it adds more whitespace between Indira Varma and Jackie Earle Haley. Also: she cute. Albeit way too young. But can't deny the eye candy aspect.

I opted not to get the BDP-93, and to wait on the BDP-93SE nee BDP-95 instead, so...woo-hoo-and-a-woot. (starts saving for Q1 or Q2 2011)
