If you liked them, then yes, they were. I think the D5000 -- other than build quality issues -- is a completely under-rated phone. I remember liking it, and have heard nothing since then to convince me otherwise.

Hey Zorn fans -- anyone heard any of the Book of Angels series of recordings? Various artists play from the Zorn songbook, including the one that intrigues me the most, Medeski Martin & Wood. Assume I, for the most part, don't like Zorn. Is this sufficiently Zorn-like that I will want to pass on this as well?

Okay, I need a new television as well, so I'm probably going with the Gateway XHD-3000 (or the Dell 3008FPW). Those are really the only two options, because they're the only ones that have internal scalers, and I know of no scalers that will produce DVI-D (Dual DVI). Any other contenders or options I should be considering?
