    Very sorry Craig. My sympathies.
  2. My Mom had this recording and I used to love listening to it as a kid. Found it on Tidal The second track describes the recording of the cannons and bells used. Pretty interesting. Don't play it too loud. They did a great job of capturing the vintage bronze cannon.
  3. Nicely done! Where'd you get the case?

Happy Birthday Doug!!! Hope you have a great day
  8. Here's some pics of the power supply inside a Canon build...
  9. Because the Blue Hawaii current limits the tubes you don't have to worry and the Groove tube ratings won't change that. You do want to go for the high numbered tubes because they are late break up.

I absolutely love the Magnepan sound. I have the 1.6 model, but fell in love originally with some of the larger models. I've had mine since 1989 and still like the open feel.
  14. We'll also need to do the GRLV boards as well. So to get this up and running is 2x GRHV78xxx, 1x GRLV78xx (mini or micro), 1x GRLV79xx (mini or micro) + the main board.

    Love the Maggies
  16. Yes. Thank you Michael!
  17. The main board does not need to be assembled but the regulator modules do (2 per power supply). For the Power supply modules, using the LT1236 should reduce the heat on the CCS pad feeding the reference by about 5 deg C. I haven't tested this yet, but it seems like a good substitute and possibly preferable. PS - Just thinking out loud, the LT1021-7 might be the best option here.
  18. I'd like some
  19. For the GRHV78XXX I would recommend to have the full board assembled as part of the group buy. Yeah, 0603 LEDs are fun
  20. I've tested this supply and it works nicely
