  1. Not sure where this belongs but as the forum title also mentioned *little screen related things* and I'm on a 12" powerbook I think it might fit just fine here Not sure of this is "old" stuff but I had never seen anything like this and was quite impressed: StumbleVideo
  2. Nice photos. What a beautiful enviroment! You do have some wacko houses
  3. Perhaps you could've phrased your opinion a little different. Spewing your way in here on your first post is not exactly a nice manner to say hello, is it?
  4. I've reread this particular bit with great interest. As I probably won't pick up either the Qualia or the R10 in the future it's kind of worthless / unnecassary buying a high-end dac when used headphones can't reveal the true nature of a source. I'm sorry this sounds overly logic but I actually kind of read over this bit at first. It gives the future search more sense. Thanx.
  5. This place is very nice Nice to have you around!
  6. Nice shots. The blue is indeed awesomely blue wow! Long time ago when I worked with slide film. Makes me wanna go out and do it again, also the cross processing.
  7. HaPpY bIrThDaY!!! Ow there's a cake somewhere for you in this post but I can't get the candles to lit up so not sure if you'll see it
  8. Yeah thanx. In september it will be finished completely I hope. Looking forward to that!
  9. We started cleaning up the basement as the man who fixed the walls is done yay! We positioned the rinsing table to where it's supposed to be and cleaned that one as well. Here are 2 pics of what it's like already...: On the left side a table will be placed on which the enlargers will be placed on. In the middle will come another table which will contain the paper cutting thing, lightbox and that sort of "dry" stuff. We went measuring today and it was pretty funny as we found out that the ceiling is 2 metres high where the enlargers will come and the biggest enlarger is 1.30 high..huhumm...the working table will have to be a little lower than I thought / wanted...ow well, it'll work out. Pretty happy so far
  10. Ik weet niet of je hem hier ziet, maar bij deze: een superfijne verjaardag toegewenst!! Cheers
  11. Thanx for the pics, Dan. Looks like a relaxed meet sphere in a pretty cosy room. The KGSS looked really nice.
  12. FFUUCCKKK we just came home from dinner and when we were at the end of our dinner it rained like massively...when we got back home we checked the basement where we're currently working on my new darkroom and it was FLOODED FUCK!!! The walls have just been plastered and covered with plates of gips (<---?) and it's wet now at the part where it touches the ground. Shit ass that's no good.
  13. I just installed NeoOffice and it looks real similar to MS Office (well yeah)..I can open my excel files in Neo without any trouble and edit them and resave them in normal .xls if I want (and reopen the edited file in Excel again). You can also choose the opensoftware extension and lot's of others. It's not that use the software on a high level, it's just to keep track of my hours and to make invoices and such. I'll continue to work with it from now on and ditch MS completely if I'm satisfied and when I buy a new MBP.
  14. I hope you have a great one!
  15. Pfff I'm just sitting here being wasted and all..We took my parents out for dinner last night and they ended up spending the night at our place. It was like 5 at night when we finally hit the pillow. One more dinner tonight (ah life is sooo hard at times ) and I can spend the day sleeping at work tomorrow...I 'm really getting old now
  16. So...how's the stuff rollin'?
  17. Mediteraneo in Maastricht. Best Italian restaurant I've ever been to. But they're on holiday so.... @ Dusty: i guess so...
  18. What a hilarious restaurant....We've never been there before so it was quite a surprise but jeezzz...it was an italian thing, the amuse was pretty good: a creme of tomatoes, a piece of salami and a baked parmasan piece. The wine was absolutely brilliant, can't recall which one but it was really good and that's about as good as it gets.... It took them like 2 and half hours to serve the 2 first courses (we took a menu of 4) huhum....I was pretty hungry and in the end I was a tad tipsy like a lot of bit with an empty stomach as in brilliant combination They served everybody who ordered the same at the same time despite there being whatever time difference between the orders....huhummm.... I had a great evening though, we have fun everywhere we go despite the surroundings so that's a good thing but that was a first and a last for sure wow... Anyways, have a great evening everyone!!!
  19. Hey thanx everyone!!! Just got home from work today lol and my boyfriend is gonna take me out for dinner tonight yay!! 22. Hmm interesting. I've never heard of neo-office and open office doesn't work on Leopard. They were / are working on it though (aqua-something) but hasn't been released yet. Neo seems to have mutliple features that both ms and open office don't have although the list is probably set up to make it look that way. I'll definitely check it out though as the ms version I use is not legal anyways.
  23. Ah okay thanx. I'll download it though as it would save me some steps.

  25. Yeah I know. I should have formulated my question differently: When I rip an album as I do now I just put in my laptop, say to iTunes import as ALAC with error correction. What advantage would Max give over iTunes as in better conversion or stuff?
