I should kill my parents now I guess I don't have a colleague who doesn't know what he's doing...we're like a specialist shop with mostly fulltimers running around who have been working there for much longer than I have. That's pretty bad indeed. I don't know what I would've done in her place... Ow well, it'll probably be not the last encounter of this caliber and I know what I know, but sometimes it's hard to remain in a somewhat polite manner when you actually want to hit him real hard. I got really pissed today A client came in today (male, about 57 yrs old) and had a problem with his memory card in his digital camera. I asked him if I could see the camera when he waved the card in front of my nose and said, here's the problem. I said, well, I need to see it in the camera first to see how it defines the problem. He finally gave me the camera and while I was putting the card in he said, i would like to have one of your male colleagues...they know better what to do with it...I was like, yeah, I know my stuff so you don't neccesarily need one of them. When I turned on the camera I was looking how to get the lens out (old nikon model which I hadn't handled before) and he pointed at one of my male colleagues, I want him, you don't know anything about it. Luckily my colleague jumped in at the right time as I was nearly exploding !!! Arrogant stupid FUCK It's not that this is the first time...but since I got back from Berlin it seems to be a trend as this is the maybe 10th time it happened in like 2 weeks. I get so sick of it I work there for 4,5 yrs now, study photography for 7 and still get treated like I'm a dumbass know-nothing and I'm getting fed up with Anyways, end of rant...the rest of the day was very nice though

Yeah thanx, it was. My dad is a huge Neil fan; this was his first Young-live-gig, pretty cool. He showed me their music (C,S,N&Y) about 1 1/2 yrs ago and I didn't like it at first till I listened longer. I'm glad he has a good taste in music

Neil Young @ Bospop Weert. Wow, that was amazing! He's like a grandpa rockin' real hard (unbelievable the guy is 62 ) ! The way he hops around the stage is awesome to look at. He played a lot of old stuff like from Harvest and it was not that he played a huge amount of tracks but they took soooo long..Each time you think it ended he threw in a solo followed by lyrics again followed by another solo. He just kept on going, absolutely brilliant! My dad had the time of his life too. Cool to share that with him. It was a long stand though..he had 3 support acts which started at 6 with Ryan Bingham & the Dead Horses <---- pretty boring actually.. Followed by Everest <---it kept getting better and the last one were The Waterboys who were actually pretty cool. Neil started at 22:30 and played till 00:30, I hit the pillow at around 3. During the support acts it rained pretty heavily, luckily we had raincoats and during Neil Young the sky opened up and we could see the stars All in all, a really awesome day!!

From what my collegue told me the DP1 has more noise than the G9. He took some testshots comparing the 2 as a client was interested in the DP1. He walked out the door with the G9... I haven't seen the test shots yet myself though...

Sweet, the iPhone is being launched tomorrow over here (finally). They contracted T-Mobile *stupid stupid stupid* but their contract ends in like 3 months and it seems that Vodafone is gonna get them too by then and that would be extremely nice.

Sorry to hear that. Today nothing much happened so far...The guy started at our attic plastering and the like. Hopefully my new darkroom will be up next very soonish yay!! Have to go to work in half an hour.. Yesterday we went to the place my bf used to have his own shop before he joined his dad where he's now, and painted the walls and ceiling, cleaned the floor etc. in order to make it look somewhat more pretty to sell the place. Pretty sweaty day After that we went to my parents for dinner who also helped cleaning and painting.

I have never heard it but it looks gorgeous so congrats on the arrival

Sigh, just had my first working day today...ow well, pretty nice day though. When I got home the man who's gonna paint and fix my darkroom walls had arrived to check things out. He's starting coming monday yeay!!!! Cooked some dinner and at 9 the guy arrived who was gonna talk to me about my retirement fundings (as in, do you wanna stop working earlier...uhmmm YEAHHH! so how do you plan to pay for that....like that kind of stuff)...always something that makes you happy Good conversation though, pretty clarifying the things I unconciously already knew. The rest of the evening will be tunes and wine, not too bad

I got the ATP & RLC straight from Maco so Rovo has nothing to do with that. It appears he's not able to post about the ATP no more as he's been sort of acused of shilling. I sent some sample negs to Rollei 2 weeks ago and they said they were overexposed. Well, they were not really, one even underexposed but they contained a white spot as the contrast when shot was too high. In that too light part the "solarization" became appearant. The film-develop combo seems to be overly sensitive to this and therefor reacting the way it did. They sent me a test kit containing 4 ATP's and Rollei DC developer. Have to give that a go...The Berlin films were developed in HC110 as I know the results from that combo is what I'm after and just to be sure they don't get screwed up again by the RLC..

Twas my boyfriends birthday today so we got up and we went to his parents. They took us out for dinner this afternoon..ah yeah wine before the sun hits closing time . Came home at around 4, took a little nap in the sun. Then my parents came over for my bf, sat in the garden, ate some cheese, salad, ardenner sausage and of course drank some more wine Ah, life could be worse I guess
