So far I've written them an angry email because I got charged shipping both ways for the array I didn't receive. They refunded the "purchase price", but neither shipping option.

  5. I think most tv stands are fairly stable. I guess it's a matter of height vs depth and width, generally. Most of the stands sold at costco, for example, I think would stand up to a lot. But also, you're going to have it up against a wall, right? You could just put a bracket on each corner to hold it to the wall, or to each foot to hold it to the floor. Also, you could mount the TV to the wall, just above the "tv stand". That's what we did.

The dynaudio manual just suggests connecting pin 3 to ground, so I don't think going from an unbalanced output to the balanced input will be a big problem. Or you could get some Cinemag CMLI 15/15a transformers...

  13. "Steaks Sandwich" The local pit beef bbq place has a steak sandwich special on weds, for $6.50. It's a ribeye sandwich. The concept seems good enough, so one day we tried it. Turns out it's not just a ribeye sandwich, it's 2-3 ribeyes on a burger bun. We've changed the name to steaks sandwich, and go there every Wednesday.
  14. A good grinder is critical for good coffee, no matter what you use to brew the coffee
  15. can't go wrong with any of them. I use my aeropress and french press regularly. The coffee they make is different from each other, but both good. Depends on your preferences.
  16. breaker is between all that and the systems, it's a safety thing
  17. Got up at 4am to drive in to work to power off half of one of my supercomputers so they could replace a breaker. For all the money spent in redundant components, we're still beholden to 50 year old power breakers.
  18. Gonzaga was the only team I cared about in the tournament. Guess I won't watch any games again this year.
