    It's still funny.
  2. How about instead you deal with that the thread drifted.
  3. that one's just silly
  4. 4" is still often way too shallow
  5. of course at f2, your DOF is about 4mm
  6. I've gone for a low end vinyl rig, and with that, I find that I appreciate what it brings to the table, so to speak. It's not convenient, and doesn't fit well in my life, but it does have a certain charm that makes it worthwhile some times. I did decided to not go with a higher end phono stage, because I don't listen for ultimate sound quality, but for the "analog magic", whatever that may be. I don't find myself wishing it sounded 2% better, I just listen and enjoy. Almost exclusively on speakers, too.
  7. I can't hear the difference between a cd I rip from lp and that lp...
  8. 7-0 baby
  9. So hockey is starting back. Training camp has begun. I'm heading to the preseason opener for the capitals down in raleigh on weds. It's a sickness. I'm really looking forward to the caps opener in Atlanta. I wish I could go down for that one as well, and tip a few back with Mr Hankins. I even watched the rookie game between the caps and the flyers...
  10. Pics of you with better, or I'm moving you into the aerius group
  11. The report I read was 45mm driver, not 42, that it's new for the esw10. And the esw9 isn't meh at all, imho
  12. get some small gauge upocc wire, some sleeving, a 4pin male, 4 4pin females, 2 xlr-M, 2 xlr-F, 1 1/4" connector, and 1 mini connector, and you'll have the complete complement you'll ever need.
  13. I'm sure you could find people in the usa who are willing and able to do it, as well... Looking at the doc, it looks like the cable was originally 4 wire, but currently it uses a 3 wire cable.

I'll give it a try out. The bear's a little smaller than my preference, but it seems like it may work

Wouldn't shrink down well, but I do like that one
  16. I like farfalle. I usually make it with olive oil, garlic, and multiple cheeses tho, as the pasta course in a bigger dinner. Maybe with a bruschetta and toast.
  17. the seafood marinara was good, but the kids complained that the spaghetti tasted like fish.
  18. Best wishes to your family for having survived another year with you
  19. I'm making seafood marinara tonight, tho I haven't started, and certainly am not eating it yet
  20. Installed 3 motion sensing lights
  21. Throw some heat shrink on it...
  22. That's definitely not the case anywhere I've lived. DWI is automatic 12 month suspension + potentially jail time around here.
  23. The trick is to get the kids to want to do it, rather than make them. And not stress the "still" too much.
  24. I mostly carbonate in the bottle, because one of the things I really like about homebrew is you get hte nice smooth yeast fart co2 bubbles instead of the harsh chemically derived co2 bubbles
