  1. priorities for real world speed: memory faster drive cpu speed
  2. I hope they add the firewire back at some point
  3. grawk replied to Pars's topic in Headphone Amplification
That's because thrice is underpriced. The curse of DIY-based products.
  4. I wanted the new macbook until I realized no firewire.
  5. And no matter what you say about it, that's still true Not everyone needs raid, tho. It's certainly cheaper just to have multiple drives with multiple copies. My drobo is overkill at the moment, since i'm just using it for backup.
  6. There were some places in alaska that had VERY old sourdoughs. It was important enough during the gold rush that alaskans call themselves sourdoughs.
  7. mine is significantly older than 10 yrs old
  8. I still have an old school abercrombie flannel I like
  9. recovered from my reunion last night, then drove home, took the kids to hockey, then came home and watched 2 recorded hockey games and dexter and 20/20
  10. The macbook has the drive in the upper right even now
  11. The v6s are pretty bullet proof. I had mine travelling with me in a road case for years. They experienced nearly every kind of abuse for years. I ended up recabling them because I chewed a short in the cable, but the connection at the cup was rock solid.
  12. Yup, lot B is my go to bourbon.
  13. Check dougs apple scripts. There might be one to do what you want. That's one of those things that is completely contrary to how itunes works tho.
  14. You changed the filename, of course you have to change where it's pointing
  15. I take it that's not classified now then Looks cool.
  16. dealt with a ton of political crap at work, then went to a cocktail party the night before my reunion with some people I don't remember from high school. It was a good time.
  17. I will go along with the v6 recommendations others have made, if the recable doesn't help. I don't think it's helpful to dismiss requests like this when they come from people not being schmucks about it. There are good headphones under $100 and as long as it's not a shill answering the question, there's no harm in responding.
  18. I'm a big fan of Old Forresters for an inexpensive sipper. Bites like a bourbon should. I also like overholdt's rye.
  19. You don't need an ha2002 for a jpn to sound good. It's just the only amp that can make the horrid thing that is the w2002 sound good. I'd be willing to bet a gilmore lite would make jpns shine. Mine sounded good with everything i tried them on.
  20. You mean I could have charged Justin more?
  21. The trifecta of toiletcans
  22. posty, I knew you of all people would appreciate that
  23. How low can they go? Death row what a brother know.
  24. I use an airport express with airtunes. I haven't bothered with airfoil, tho.
  25. I'm not gonna argue who's got the cuter baby, just the picture
