Pictures can very easily lie. It could be pictures of a prototype, it could be pictures of something completely different. I'm not saying it is, I honestly don't care.

If that's the value that's the value. It doesn't surprise me that a well regarded headphone that there were only approximately 200 of ever made has gone up drastically in value. They'll eventually all end up in the hands of collectors as the price goes up.
