  1. oh probably, it wasn't really a serious suggestion.
  2. It'd be amusing to make a stax to koss adapter, so you can run O2s off the koss amp
  3. Baby steps my friend, baby steps Just mowed the leeward side of my yard. Windward tomorrow.
  4. Ken, can you tell how a socket is wired with an amp in front of you, but the amp closed up? I can't. I'd trust Craig before I'd trust an assertion from someone I don't know. Simple as that.
  5. Yes, but Craig and Kevin have track records. Kevin's an ass, but he knows his shit. Yes, he sometimes makes mistakes. And well, Craig is honest to a fault, and has said that he runs the tubes at lower power for heat reasons.
  6. Fixed that for you. $3000 is a lot. There really aren't many PS1s out there tho, and they are the best sounding grados out of the box, imho.
  7. gave the suburban a tuneup. Nothing like replacing a distributor cap and spark plugs before breakfast to make you feel like a man's man
  8. You stating it doesn't make it a fact, even if you've verified it for yourself.
  9. Adapters work fine. Just reterminate the koss extension cable with a stax connector (rather than reterminating the stax cable)
  10. a good massage, and a better mattress
  11. flats
  12. I have so many pairs of bowls going unused at this point
  13. more important, as it's actually godwin's law, and not what someone on wikipedia decided it was: There are many corollaries to Godwin's law, some considered more canonical (by being adopted by Godwin himself)[2] than others invented later.[1] For example, there is a tradition in many newsgroups and other Internet discussion forums that once such a comparison is made, the thread is finished and whoever mentioned the Nazis has automatically "lost" whatever debate was in progress. This principle is itself frequently referred to as Godwin's Law. It is considered poor form to raise such a comparison arbitrarily with the motive of ending the thread. There is a widely recognized codicil that any such ulterior-motive invocation of Godwin's law will be unsuccessful (this is sometimes referred to as "Quirk's Exception").[6]
  14. yankees don't do well in those places (except northern va)
  15. it's godwin's law, as in Mike Godwin. A sanctimonious ass, but not a bad guy otherwise. Anyway, unless you compare your opponent in an argument with nazis, it's not invoking godwin's law.
  16. That looks like kevin smith
  17. If you can sell a minidac for enough to get an 840c, you should jump all over it.
  18. Took my kid to hockey practice.
  19. local pawnshops?

    Custom IEM's

Those are the ones most interesting to me, as well
  21. So here's some advice: When you show up someplace new, don't jump right in with expert advice. Especially when no one asked for said advice. Participate as a person. If someone asks a question, and you know the answer, feel free to speak up. But don't do it in an "I'm the authority, here's the answer" way, suggest it as a possibility. Even if your answer is the only answer, humility makes a huge difference. Another suggestion would be to not try and put yourself above others. Things like saying you're hotter than other female engineering students, or you've been in america since the mayflower make it sound like you're insecure and seeking approval. What it does instead is open you up for criticism. No one cares what you look like until you bring it up. Hell, most of us are fat and ugly, but we don't set ourselves up as anything else...
  22. The hole is 1", btw.
  23. If someone bullied you into revealing what your project is, please let me know. I'll have a discussion with them to see what was going on, and maybe slap them around a bit. Unless it was jacob, in which case, you're in aeriusland.
  24. The comfy pads aren't hte same as the flat pads.
  25. No one bullied you. Nate asked if you'd like to list yourself as a MOT, since you sell cables for profit.
