  1. Oh come on, we all know you'd invest it all shorting oil, make 100x your money, and buy some high end thing no one's ever heard before, but is the best thing ever, and buy jewels for your model girlfriend.
  2. I personally wouldn't consider having sex with sturgeon eggs. I had "cup o' noodles" and a corn tortilla with cheese for dinner tonight.
  3. Just watched dark knight in the theater. It's better on the big screen than the lousy telesync

    survey says, option 2
  18. I don't remember the discussion in question, but usually I'm pretty clear on the difference probably not being from 24 vs 16 bit, but from other factors.
  19. You're not accurately paraphrasing me. I think there's a lot more in play than the bit depth. Sample rate has a lot more potential to be significant, and it's also possible that there are mastering differences between 44/16 and 96/24 bit versions. Not to mention whatever was done to convert between the two sample rates. But 16 vs 24 bit is pretty simple. 24 bits is a godsend when recording, and once done, can be effectively translated back down to 16.

  23. I don't know about you nate, but I'd rather have the dac from the 840c without the transport for $400 than the dac from the 840c for >$1000.
  24. I'm more curious about the analog stage than the chip used as a dac.
