The vtgs aren't meant to compete with anything, and they're definitely not a replacement for stats. They're an amazing ipod headphone tho, and have magic no other headphone I've heard has.

Contrast is better on the 2nd, color in the first. If I had to pick, I prefer the crispness of the 2nd.
