  1. We could use canadians as fuel...
  2. I'd guess they're going to do it the way signal does
  3. Since estimates put ANWR alone at between 11.5 and 30.5 billion barrels of oil, I'll have to assume that you're just being an ass. Not surprising, since I already assume any time you speak your intent is to be an ass.

Sounds like great marketting for the bubbly. As to the projection screens Dusty, it's not unusual for projection screens to project the performer. Helps people in poor visibility locations feel like they can see what's going on.
  5. you can count dom as the woman.

I alternate between a tempur pillow from brookstone and a sobakowa buckwheat pillow. Neither is perfect all the time, but between the two of them I do ok. I agree that the generic tempur pillows aren't hte same, I hate the 2 I have that aren't the real thing.
  11. yes nonsense
  12. He's in california partying, he'll be fine
  13. happy 11th birthday!
  14. They have to lie about what they do (or not discuss it). It's generally discouraged to talk about what they make. But at some point, it becomes obvious, if they're friends.
  15. I can't in good faith recommend anyone go into computers who's looking for an interesting and challenging career. The number of awful jobs is high, and the number of good interesting jobs is low. Plus, if you're starting as an adult, it's too late. It's either something you've been doing for a decade, or you're gonna have too far to catch up. If you've been more than a geek, and have been studying programming all along, then that's different . But a computer science degree doesn't really apply in the real world anyway, it's just a foundation. I can't imagine that accounting will be more intellectually stimulating than banking. I'd find other finance fields if you're looking for challenge

splitting out the what is jazz stuff
  18. Yes, not all jazz is emotional. The emotion thing is what I need to like music.

but the effects are bad even at 720p
  20. 3 wires in a 4 pin xlr is a major screwup
  21. It's not math, it's not a formula. If you listen, and it has emotional impact, that's a good thing.
  22. There's exactly one thing I look for in music that I love: emotion. If it communicates emotion through music, I'm probably going to be interested. If it doesn't, I'm probably not.
  23. you're still referring to amorphous "jazz". Kenny G is technically jazz. Miles Bitches Brew is jazz. You can't really get from one to the other easily. Some people like jazz with soul, some people like well recorded drivel. It's possible you like the opposite of what you heard...
  24. jazz is such a huge category, I can't imagine anyone disliking all of it.
