I have my Mac Mini attached through the Ps Audio UPC-200 at home and the BPT Custom at work. Both just surge units and the Mini at work has gone through several power outages with no problem. The thing I can't do is have them do a restart after AC power is back without UPS so I will probably buy an APC unit for the home system as they have always worked very well for me. The one CyberPower unit I had, one of their cheaper models, was a piece of shit and kept cutting over to battery for no apparent reason and I scrapped it after about three months of annoyance.

Have to check out our local Home Depot when we get back.

Took the tram to the top of the mountain to observe Pika. Spent about two hours up there then decided to hike down rather than take the tram. First real hike for Peter. 3000ft and about 4 miles, at least half along a narrow ridge trail and he came through like a trooper. Spent the afternoon at the Octoberfest celebration here. Now drinking a nice Kolsch.

OK, real answer. At your price point I would definitely try a recabled and modified K340. The M^3 should have enough power to drive them nicely but they will also scale well if you decide to upgrade amplification in the future. My preferred answer. Keep what you have and modify the listening experience with whisk(e)y.

We realized about 4 hours ago that our flight from Indy to Salt Lake City does not leave at 6:15 am Friday but 6:15 am Thursday. We will be driving to Indy at 1:30 tomorrow morning as our Park-Sleep-Fly reservation was for Thursday evening .
