  1. The finger of blame has turned upon itself And I'm more than willing to offer myself. Do you want my presence or need my help? Who knows where that might lead?
  2. The ultimate torture machine! I highly recommend RowPro if you are planning to get into it seriously. You can train and race with other people all over the world online. It's highly motivating and there is a very tight and supportive online community. Enjoy. Although that's not really the right word. Maybe endure.
  3. Jenny Lewis -- Acid Tongue My four-year-old daughter really loves "Pretty Bird" off this, though thankfully she's missing 99% of the lyrical nuances.
  4. Truly badass amps are always ready. For anything.
  5. Sorry I'm late to the party! Happy Birthday Salty!
  6. Goldfrapp -- Supernature
  7. Happy Birthday!
  8. Thanks. Will investigate further. No noise so far with the 404LE, though, which seems to point at the headphones rather than the amp?
  9. Heaven, apparently! Wife and I had lunch out on the garden terrace of the old Vineyard Hotel, which has quite a pleasant view.
  10. Brian Eno -- Small Craft On A Milk Sea
  11. That sounds alright, Al. West Coast! West Coast!
  12. The wife got home from the Zambian copper belt tonight and bought me back a few of these. Don't try hyperinflation at home, kids!
  13. Happy Thanksgiving guys! I am thankful for many things -- most recently, a nice glass of wine and the almost liquid evening sunshine pouring down the slopes of the Constantiaberg and onto my back patio.
  14. Well crap. Presumably in retaliation for being ignored for so long, my O2s have developed a faint, continuous squeal in the left driver. Sounds like air leaking out of a tire. Deliberately "farting" the ear cup will stop it for a few seconds before it comes back. Dust, I assume?
  15. It's cranking right now! The whole room smells of toobs.
  16. Left my PS3 in America. Haven't really regretted it up to this point.
  17. J.M. Coetzee -- Slow Man The local printing actually has the following blurb on the cover: "Another exemplary tale of suffering."
  18. I propose awesome and more awesome as the scoring system, either way.
  19. The National -- High Violet
