  1. A chap over at Head-Fi was nice enough to overlay the Audeze-provided plots of his two sets, pre- and post-driver change.
  2. Yeah SABMiller, currently trying to buy Fosters in order to add even more shitty beers to their portfolio. The Urquell we get here is crap. If they really reimported it into the Czech Republic the locals would surely riot. See if you can find some Starobrno Ležák -- far better use of your precious time.
  3. Damn that looks good, Al! Me miss good pizza long time. I am having a Duvel to console myself. Recently met a Belgian beer importer and we're establishing a (strictly professional) relationship.
  4. Day trip to the Stellenbosch winelands with the kids. They got to pet a cheetah and feed tame barn owls. We got to eat a very nice lunch and pick up a trunkful of good juice. And, apparently, the pot of gold really is right outside the winery door.
  5. In a dyspeptic mood, so very much enjoyed this.
  6. Happy Birthday Greg! Will open some Chenin with lunch in your honor.
  7. Seen that movie. Enjoy the laundry bit!
  8. I invested in BHSE futures.
  9. Darling Brew Native Ale. One of the very, very, very limited selection of micros on offer around here. Better than the alternative.
  10. Nice feature set for the price. Nice box, too. Probably sell a few of those.
  11. Onion bhaji, lamb rogan josh, naan bread.
  12. Can't say it any better than this. Wishing you a continued catastrophe-free interval!
  13. Happy Birthday! Please to bear all shipping cost and customs duty levied upon conveyance of this greeting from my country to yours.
  14. Allegedly Napoleon's favorite tipple blah blah insert ad copy here. Increasingly hard to get here due to foreign demand from you fuckers. Really good! http://www.grailtrail.ndo.co.uk/Grails/wine.html
  15. Steak sarmie at the local. Mid-winter, 70 degrees at 5 pm, catching some evening sunshine on the patio overlooking the vineyards. PS: There were more chips!
  16. "I'm naughty. And it's nice!"
  17. This is going to sound like a suck up, but damn you're doing a great job with Inner Fidelity already, Tyll. I hope Source Interlink realize that, given their previous experience with audio blogging seems to mainly encompass Stephen Mejias sharing about his new Ikea record shelves and the odd little scale on the end of his cock.
  18. Lunch today: Roast pork knuckle with sauerkraut and dumplings and Paulaner hefe. Belly bombs away!
  19. Post House Penny Black. Another Cape blend.
  20. Moreson Magia 2006. Bordeaux(ish) blend. Cab, cab franc, merlot, malbec, petit verdot.
  21. Catching up on my Culture novels. Read Look To Windward and Matter on the plane, then Surface Detail last night when I couldn't sleep. Suffering a bit of Banks bloat.
  22. Who's writing their copy, Ray?
  23. Yes. But I've had it for, like, ages and the harmonicules are almost all used up.
  24. Getting USB DAC urges again. Some cool-looking stuff on the way. http://www.playbackdesigns.com/mpd3.html http://www.meitner.com/beta/index.html http://resonessencelabs.com/ (PS: That last one, no idea if they're blowing smoke or not about their unit, but that's a fucking user manual right there. At least 30 pages of measurements and various digressions on audio engineering theory and practice.)
