  1. Wibble.
  2. Spittin' too many phat rhymes? David & David -- Boomtown I think this was one of the single best albums of the 1980s. Certainly, it was one of the best single albums of the 1980s -- as in, by musicians who never recorded anything else together. It's dark, accomplished and slickly produced by a third "David" -- Davitt Sigurson -- who parlayed it into a couple of really big jobs in the record industry before himself flaming out as suddenly as these guys did. In the box.
  3. Trust me, I'm just jealous.
  4. So now black guys have to live down the "is fizzier" stereotype, too?
  5. So the way to go would probably be to get the mono box set and the aforementioned few stereo masters individually?
  6. Elvis Costello -- Brutal Youth I'm going to go out on a limb and say this is a pretty good album.
  7. Took the kids swimming. Then went blueberry picking. Then made pancakes. Burp.
  8. Donald Fagen -- Morph The Cat
  9. Shill! Or something.
  10. Well, if we're blue-skying it, how about a silk-screen Jesus riding a velociraptor and trailing a cloud of glory across the faceplate?
  11. Comic Sans FTW!
  12. It's tongue-in-cheek. The review was very favorable and Tellig and the MH dude are old buddies.
  13. Smashing Pumpkins -- Adore
  14. Friends came over. The kids all swam. We drank beer. Kids will shortly visit Uncle Pixar while we grill and start on the wine. Ah, summer.
  15. You are dead to me.
  16. They come up for sale on HF reasonably regularly. The last one went for $1600-odd.
  17. Because of the watermelon?
  18. Why would you want both sets?
  19. I like it. Clean and simple. Personally, I might choose to have the central name script in all caps, so it looks more balanced. Although, as Nate can affirm, I am just ever so slightly less than a design genius!
  20. How about starting a ZDT thread then?
  21. Simple Minds -- Graffiti Soul
  22. Pulp -- We Love Life
