  1. Yeah. Surely there's got to be a Rev. II on the way after sinking all that cash into the new DACs? Go go gadget digital ins!
  2. You clowns have to pay for them? Senn's giving me a pair with the proviso that I do minute-by-minute burn in reporting over the first three years of ownership.
  3. Sony has apparently confirmed that the 5400ES is end of life already in Europe. No word on what will be replacing it. It's staying available here, but not clear how long.
  4. Slip into my pendulous man boobs?

  10. Talk Talk -- The Colour Of Spring Just a killer album and a treat to listen to. Someday I'm going to get my hands on the SACD version.
  11. "Weltschmertz Size" wouldn't fit on the packet?
  12. Why not just transcribe it yourself on your computer? Voila, instant digital version!
  13. They have not.
  14. Pet Shop Boys -- Yes
  15. FIFY Probably makes a decent argument for a good DAC and a cheap universal player as a transport.
  16. Well, it looks like you can get the Mk1 Carys for around $3K if you're patient. That also brings various AA Capitoles into play, but I'm a little confused about the version history there. Ideally I'd like to be able to play physical SACDs, but could certainly live with very good Redbook plus 24/96 digital in.
  17. Do you have any further thoughts on the Cary, Riceboy? I'm very interested in a good cd/sacd player that will also handle digital input from my Mac at up to 24/96 and am seeing some nice used prices on the original 306s now that the pro version is out. Also, If anyone else knows of other options fitting the above description, please feel free to point me in the appropriate direction!
  18. Peter Gabriel -- 1 (Car) SACD
  19. I really want to link you to www.sugarstacks.com, but its Dugg today. Here's the Cinnabon stack anyway. Yummo!
  20. Me too! All the best.
