Took my pharmacology final today. Got asked to leave my test because the guy next to me kept looking at my answer sheet and apparently I was trying to help him cheat off of me when I was oblivious to him the entire time. Went straight to the Dean. Complained about it. Got her to pull up the video camera recording in the lecture hall and watched her watch me take my test without any foul play. The guy to my right was looking at both my test and the person to his right. Not sure what will happen to him but got to go back and finish my test in the teachers office which was far more comfortable than the shitty classroom chairs. Could have done without the stress on a hard exam to begin with but glad the summer session is over. Fall classes start on Monday. Hooray...

The "or something" at the end of that statement usually is attached to hair brained ideas that are most likely not going to work. I must be doing something wrong because I really am not trolling (seriously). Wasn't doing it in the movie section either but somehow my thoughts on movies come off as trolling. The remark about disagreeing with jacob leading to a one or a two week ban - that was me trolling. So that was one occasion. Other than that, I just don't like the exact same movies as you guys. Everything you said is correct but when it comes to the clothing argument I used to think the same. A white road surface reflects more heat than it absorbs. But there is no layer on top of it with air circulating under it to speak of. The argument for loose fitted dark clothes in the heat is that while white clothes reflect the heat from the sun, they also do the same back to one's body whereas black clothes absorb it from both ends. Now if there is wind, the cooling effect of the black clothes is higher than it is for white clothes. Hence their preference for dark clothes. As one of the websites said, if they had seen value in wearing white in the Arabian desert, they would have figured it out by now. Actually started reading about it because I saw some stuff on REI for sale in their outlet section and was looking for hiking shirts and they surprisingly came in very dark colors. Looked up why such dark colors would be used for hiking in the sun and came across those websites.

Can't speak to his tendencies or if he would like a new flavor of windows. Only suggested it as a free alternative to buying windows 8. As I said before, if he doesn't like it, you can buy windows 7/8 as you were going to in the first place. Alternatively, if you have the serial key as Todd suggested, you can download a kosher copy of windows and use your own key instead of purchasing a new license. If you do end up purchasing a new license, check abenity.com. They have a lot of discounts for students/teachers if your institution is affiliated with them. I have seen MS stuff on there for deep discounts.

You can get Windows 10 for free from Microsoft if you don't mind waiting a couple more days - I think the release date is the 29th. Don't know if it will be better or worse but no harm in giving it a try. If he doesn't like it or if it causes issues you can buy 8 anyways. Edit - didn't realize the 29th is tomorrow. With Windows, for better or worse, once something got inside, formatting and starting anew was the only thing that kept my mind at peace. Also while recently trying to figure out which color shirts to buy on sale from rei, I found out that darker colors remove head better from your body in hot weather - it absorbs the heat from the environment and your body equally. That's why most if not all desert tribes wear very loose fitted black clothes. Again all of this is speculation on my part so do with it as you wish

Have purchased five SB6121 in the past 3 years. For myself, Julie, parents and one of Julie's friends. Worked perfectly. 6141 is a bit more expensive. I don't know why but if it is moar bettar then go for it. I currently get ~90mbps on my 6121 so speed is not an issue.

Ok fairly bright boy, care to explain how my opinion of Cumberbatch's portrayal of Holmes being better than Brett's reflects in any manner on your like or dislike of the stories? I'd love to see that leap of logic.

Because the best way to determine someone's liking of a piece of literature is to judge their liking of the portrayal of one of the characters by an actor vs another. Makes perfect sense.
