Apple TV issues

But I am not exclusively listening to music on a hard drive. I am watching lectures, videos, YouTube etc also. Music/video is on the MBA hard drive. I change the sound output in preferences to Apple TV and router takes a dump. I reset the router 3-4 times. It starts working. I can use vlc, QuickTime, iTunes with bit perfect etc just fine. Randomly later the sound cuts out and the video continues but no sound output. I try to change it to Apple TV again and router crashes. -
Apple TV issues

Everyone in the house loses Internet. The router needs to be reset to get things back in order. Latest Apple TV. Firmware was updated yesterday. -
Recently, I acquired an Apple TV to serve music wirelessly to the ps audio dl 3 dac. When it works, I have no issues. Even the delay/lag problem I was having just stopped occurring after I restarted the macbook air. Perhaps there was a buffer issue. I didn't need to buy and 3rd party software. It works on any kind of audio/video file. However, every time I try to select the Apple TV in sound settings on my MBA, it kills the wireless router. The only way to fix it is to power cycle the router. I am using WPA2 encryption and the problem persists without any encryption schemes as well. Any thoughts on what could be causing this and how to fix it? It kills the internet about 5 times at which point it either starts working randomly or I give up and use the jh16s. The whole point of me buying this was to be able to use it with headphones and speakers without having my laptop bound to the dac via a usb cable. Halp!

Jesus that's a big laptop. Do you have a particular reason to be lugging something that big around Nate? Can't be light either.

That can be fixed quite easily Antonio. Pm me if you would like me to grab one for you.

5 is the oldest. Then came n. then r. I am guessing the prices are based on that. Is a viewfinder important to you or can you live with live view? I am not using mine (nex 5) and haven't in a few months because of school. I can ship it over if you want to play with it prior to purchase. But I only have a zeiss 50/2 manual lens so you will need to find an af lens if that is what you plan to use later. -

I'd throw in a vote for an nex 5 which can be picked up for peanuts these days and a sigma 30mm. Supposedly much sharper than more expensive lenses and reviews mentioning that were written by cicala so I trust them. -

I can ask the physician I shadow. He deals with a lot of workman's comp cases.

they teach that in med school, greg. I think.

The ER where I shadowed physicians had an equal number of both and other than the white coats they wore there was no way to tell one from the other. The ER chief is a DO as well. They mostly encouraged me to go the MD route not because of research opportunities but because of hiring biases by trustees or board of directors. In terms of practicing privelages they are both the same and I don't see a difference between them. Additional good news is that both agcme and aoa residencies will be accredited by the same entity starting in 2015. I am hoping that this will make matching easier for DO students as they won't have to take both the USMLE and COMLEX to apply. Residency programs will accept both. The only difference I can seem to find between the two is not as much research in DO and the additional osteopathic manipulation class which I'm not entirely sold on. I haven't met a single physician that practices it. I can see it theoretically working for musculoskeletal problems but I can't take claims of curing autism with manipulation seriously. While being given a tour of the facilities the manipulation lab professor remarked that he could tell I was having some pretty bad lower back pain from the way I was standing even though my facial expression indicated nothing. He asked me if I would volunteer for a demonstration and I agreed. He did something and I had instant relief. I can see the benefits extending to things like that but not curing genetic diseases. Given my age and financial obligations already, I think I will matriculate at the less expensive of the two schools if those are the only ones I get into. However I still have to wait for 3 more schools so no final decision yet. Thanks again guys it's been a good past few days.

Thanks everyone. Extremely happy. Told my parents as soon as I found out and the first thing they both said was, "Don't freaking leave this time around!" Tis a good day.

First med school acceptance. Fuckity fuck fuck yeah.

Dinny why not get an MBA and maybe a Thunderbolt Display? Portability when you want it. Big ass shiny screen when you are home. I have a MBA right now and for the weight and convenience I wouldn't trade it for anything. My next upgrade will probably be to a 13" rmba
